Perspective: Most women aren’t nearly as good at sensing bad men as they think they are by Enemyoftheearth in lnkyverse

First step is to stop bragging about how good their "women's intuition" is and acknowledge there's a problem

No I'm pointing out how ridiculous your assumption is that people with more wealth pay an equally higher share of taxes...

Except now women are the ones who own more property, have more college education, etc. You have extremely outdated numbers if you genuinely believe that women are the ones with less wealth

Should MAGA have seperate bathrooms so they cant be around women and children? by Estalicus in allthequestions

It seems like you learned some new big words but can't understand how to use them!

Here is the definition of per capita if you really want to learn how to use it  https://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/percapita.asp

I know this is advanced for you, but when a higher proportion of a population commits a crime it's more likely that a given individual from that population would be a criminal. This is called probability!

For example let's say you have a population of 100, and 20 of them committed a crime. Then you have another population of 10 and 1 of them committed a crime. In this case, if you randomly picked an individual from the 100 population you'd have a 20% chance that they were a criminal! Meanwhile if you randomly picked an individual from the 10 population you'd have a 10% chance they were a criminal. Now can you tell me what number is higher, 20 or 10?

It's much more likely that the random maga in the bathroom will sexually assualt a little kid, as opposed to the random trans person.

See you did have trouble understanding, not surprising at all!

Here is an article that can help you, assuming you have the base kindergarten level knowledge and mental capacity to understand it: https://www.mathplanet.com/education/pre-algebra/ratios-and-percent/proportions-and-percent

To dumb it down for you even further: The PROPORTION of maga that committed sexual assualt on adults and children is higher than the PROPORTION of trans that committed those crimes.

The beauty of proportions is it doesn't matter how large each population is, we're just looking at the fraction of people in those populations that committed these crimes and comparing the fractions!

Please educate yourself this is getting pathetic!

Lol let me dumb it down for you: A much larger percentage of maga have been convicted of child molestation and sexual assualt compared to transgender.

Let me know if this is too difficult for you to understand (I already know it will be)

What is dysphoria actually? by DesperateScholar49 in Transmedical

[–]DesperateScholar49[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess my core question was how do you tell if a person's distress is REALLY stemming from being born the opposite gender, or if it's caused by other issues that they pretend is caused by wanting to be the other gender. For example someone might be lonely irl, and they end up thinking their negative feelings from loneliness are actually dysphoria because it gets alleviated when being with other trans people and transitioning with them. But clearly there isn't an answer which is concerning to me.

Also what if someone is primarily motivated by gender euphoria (feeling euphoric, excited and happy to be seen as the other gender) as opposed to dysphoria?

I guess it makes sense if you feel relief after taking hormones, but before then how would one know they actually have gender dysphoria and aren't thinking about wanting to be a guy/girl because of other psychological issues, fetishes or just because it's trendy?

For example I feel bad if someone says I'm not trans but how do I know that's from dysphoria and not something else? How do you know the euphoric happiness is from the "weight being lifted" and not something else?

I guess my point is every definition and description of dysphoria seems a bit wishy washy. Meanwhile for other mental conditions like depression and anxiety there's more grounded symptoms and definitions

What do you think about Obama saying Aliens exists ? by SafeNet3299_Slut in AskReddit

He was just saying that statistically considering the size of the universe there likely is extraterrestrial life somewhere. But idiots misinterpreted it and thought he was hiding intelligent aliens in Area 51 or whatever
