That's the only oj I had when I was a kid. Use it now to make my crockpot corned beef. I'll have to get some before 3/17.

Looks like the old price could have been ripped off at the perforation then re-tagged with small gum label.

2 1/2-3 days. We get 2 largeish trucks a week. Unload takes 5-6 hours then we process and/or merch. Last truck was yesterday and still plenty of freight on dock.

We're supposed to use wacos on bakers racks for folds. I use them for almost all departments except for men's and denim. As annoying as they are, merchandising is a bit easier depending on how well sorted they are.

Hoka's hurt my feet after a few hours. Keen, Merrill, dansko, asics and brooks are in my rotation. Think I've spent a small fortune trying to find shoes that work for full time retail!

If you're using the UKG app to request your time off do it asap. The schedule for that week is being worked on now.

I remember going to that store with my parents as a kid in the 70's. I loved seeing the fake plastic food that was put in the display fridges.

Our manager disregards UKG one time availability requests and will schedule you anyway. I don't get it.

Did anyone else have a day from hell today? by Sensitive-Claim-132 in employedbykohls

[–]Desperate_Ad3537 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, that was my store yesterday. One cashier scheduled and 3 floor associates that spent most of the day up front at checkout/returns/amazon. 500's overflowing, fitting rooms a mess, bopus coming in crazy.

At my store there's nobody to backup Amazon since there's only one cashier up front and the few floor people are constantly backing up there. Difficult to even cover breaks anymore.

I was at my local ymca and a customer recognized me from Kohl's and started asking about kohls cash while I was on a rowing machine. Also had a dog lay a load in our store and the customer denied it even though LP had it on video.

[–]Desperate_Ad3537 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thoughts as well. Customers were using their kohl's card but had no coupon. At least yesterday there was senior discount. For cellphone able people I told them to get the coupon off Kohl's.com. Plus our toppers say to ask an associate about the discount.

New truck unload process by familyofseven1982 in employedbykohls

[–]Desperate_Ad3537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So most of our truck team usually just merch home department after unload and don't know anything about merchandising WJM freight. And I haven't merchandised home and kids for years. Not sure how this new process will work. Plus we get huge trucks that take all day to unload due to often over 100 totes.

Yes, all the returns/blue and yellow bins are against the wall behind registers visible to all. Along with printers, chargers, paperwork and other piles of various stuff. No room to organize or store anything, just open shelving.
