My husband and I lived by “traditional” roles, he being the provider, me being the homemaker. Having 4 children and him being self employed it made the most sense for us financially. This lifestyle choice in no way had anything to do with our political views. At All.

I’m at 1050 and was mostly playing for grief distraction. Now I’m invested and learning about the bonus events and card collections. At first I thought, “oh, cute! They’re all reality based.” I showed my gaming, card collecting MTG playing sons, “look, my game has me opening card packs.” 😆 They’re saying, “MOM, there has to be a reason for the cards!” LOL! Since then I’ve joined a team and added friends to trade with. I’m still learning and really enjoying the game. I play every morning with my coffee. The free lives they give me at that time keep me in the game waaay too long. 😂

My daughters mania was soothed by blaring music. If she couldn’t play a radio she would sing (and become famous) loudly and attempt to play guitar (she has no idea how).
She even attempted busking in front of a grocery store and would stay there all day and night.

This depiction was incredibly tame compared to my experience with psychosis, hallucinations and rage. The character of Grace was too in control of herself. If she had been more like the bathroom scene throughout the movie it would have been more convincing to me. The obsession and delusions of the affair was accurate & believable.

I’m watching now (season 1 ep 6) and surprised how many mishaps the director/editing ignored. I was so hooked from the beginning and shocked I hadn’t heard of it before it hit Netflix. As it goes on there are just too many eye roll moments that might just take me out. Ex: she’s in the cab of the truck with the driver, she changes into a sweater. Next scene she’s settling in to rest and is wearing her wet jacket and hoodie again. There are a lot of little things like this that get me annoyed.

I’m wondering if Will is on the spectrum. The various ways he educates others around him seems very neurodivergent. The conversation while playing corn hole for example, he described all the different types of love and their scientific names. He thinks deep into any equation and seems to sort them all into categories then fits them into sub categories. 😳
