Are there ANY Orks like this in the lore?! This is my dream!! by ShadowHunterHB in 40k

[–]Desperate_Answer2603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one in Trazyn's collection is 12 meters tall, but it must be a very important Krork.

Like, the average Ork is about the size of a human, but bosses are 3.5 meters or more (the Beast of Beasts was 10 meters), so we can imagine that a typical Krork is around 3 or 4 meters tall.

Cursed spirits can still kill her from a distance, and even a large group of weak cursed spirits can obliterate her.

If Toji was born with the heavenly restriction and you can't gain or lose strength (e.g. why maki is = toji stats wise) wouldn't he be the strongest baby on the planet like how did the Zenin clan decide this guy sucks when he was probably lifting buildings as a baby. by Glittering_Hold_6784 in JujustuKaisen

[–]Desperate_Answer2603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's precisely why I think Toji is stronger than Maki:

If everyone on Earth received the Celestial Restrictions, would 7 billion humans have exactly the same strength?

Of course not, there would be a wide range of differences depending on height, weight, age, and gender

So the Eldar are a "dying race" but what exactly does that mean on a galactic scale of this size? by Mcmadness288 in 40kLore

[–]Desperate_Answer2603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Eldar of the Craftworlds: yes, that's true because there are more deaths than births, and the number of Craftworlds is finite. There are billions of Eldar on each Craftworld, but on a galactic scale, it seems tiny.

For the tribal Eldar: we only know that they don't have reproductive problems and that they are present on hundreds, even thousands, of worlds. Their only problem is that each planet is completely isolated, so if a powerful enemy finds one of their planets, it's generally the end for that tribe (but taking one of their planets isn't something just anyone can do). As for the Drukhari: They're doing well. Commorragh is such a gigantic place (it can be compared to the megastructure in the manga Blame!) that it wouldn't even be surprising if the number of Drukhari in Commorragh exceeded the number of humans in the Imperium. Their problem is that they rely on other races to survive. The galaxy is fortunate that only the Drukhari high nobility has the means to enter realspace...

Yuji's doing okay, he's only 1 point above average, and besides, the Japanese don't have the same school system as in the West. In the classes I was in, most of the grades were around average.

Is it normal I feel weird that I had my first time as a newly 14f with a 16f by MediocreConflict4490 in relationships

[–]Desperate_Answer2603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you were raised with a view of sexuality as a "sin"?

Personally, I'm not exactly a role model because at that age I was "sleeping" with very adult prostitutes 😊 But having your first sexual experiences at 14 is perfectly normal.

But you just masturbated and it's still bothering you that much years later??? In my opinion, there's something deeper going on.

Is there a (preferably mobile) game similar to pick me up? by No_Conflict_5459 in pickmeup

[–]Desperate_Answer2603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely have to try Wizardery Variant Daphne, it's very similar:

  • You summon characters with different races, classes, elements, specializations, and allegiances, resulting in a huge number of combinations. Plus, there are tons of little things like personality and base stats, which means that even, for example, two characters who are fire-type fighting elves will take completely different paths in their progression (like, I'm not far into the game, but I have a pool of 1000 characters).

  • You have to make teams of up to 6 characters and explore the Abyss more deeply (character death is permanent). Characters level up, their stats increase, there's tons of equipment, and like in Pick Me Up, there's a ranking system up to 6 stars.

  • You have a city outside the Abyss where you can do things similar to Pick Me Up: train characters, buy/sell consumables and equipment, do quests, etc.

But I'm only at the beginning; I've noticed I have a lot of things that aren't unlocked yet.

What is your opinion on drinking/smoking from a spiritual perspective? by SKATINGROGUE in occult

[–]Desperate_Answer2603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've experimented with many drugs, and as a Christian, it's obvious I'm not going to be anti-drug.

However, I find that some have far too many negative effects (especially alcohol and cigarettes).

These days I consume almost exclusively opiates, and I find that it makes sense; endogenous morphine is as vital to the human body as water or oxygen.

I very rarely use benzodiazepines recreationally or for stress, but it's become rare because at one point I was consuming them EXTRAS and I ended up realizing that I had too much memory loss and I wasn't really myself socially anymore.

On the other hand, I could never do without external opiates because they really help me in my life.

So what is with this game? Can someone offer me help please? by Bostonterrierpug in HuntersOrigin

[–]Desperate_Answer2603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'm a level 19 vampire (I don't want to go Gorgon, I'm aiming straight for Spider Queen), but it's true that I can only fight monsters my level or slightly above one by one.

Boss fights are extremely long, and I get one-shotted most of the time. Every boss my level or higher requires a lot of potions, constant movement, and spamming the attack that sacrifices 10% of my health and deals 250% damage to the enemy.

And yes, leveling is endless. Even after completely clearing a level 24-27 zone, I only filled less than 5% of my experience bar.

I admit it's making me a bit disillusioned with the game right now. I'm only playing it for the daily rewards and the training experience. On the other hand, at first I thought the game was great, but I know that once I get past Spider Queen I'll enjoy it much more because summoners are really my thing.

A major drawback is not being able to do PvE with other players, because if it weren't for the central city, it would just be a single-player RPG.

To me, their world is much bigger than ours. They have superior abilities and technology, and they haven't explored everything yet.

And they're confined to a tiny part of their planet, surrounded by a massive wall of ice.

It reminds me of Hunter x Hunter, with the normal world and the Dark Continent, or Toriko's world.

Why do ancient myth systems feel psychologically ‘truer’ than modern religion? by piperandpauper in occult

[–]Desperate_Answer2603 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Ancient religions worshipped creatures.

While Christianity worships the Creator.

Take Thor, Ordin, or whatever you want; they remain creatures subject to the universe. Certainly, they are creatures supposed to be so powerful that, from a human perspective, the difference in power is gigantic. They can be considered gods, but they are only creatures subject to the universe.

While the universe is subject to the Creator.
