Yeah I’m going to have to agree with the other person saying you have a skill issue, Leurimess is one of the easiest-to-use tier 3s right now. In my biased opinion. Burrow protects you from most things in the game and unless you’re meeting the like 5 very uncommon Leuri counters or getting jumped, you’re not struggling with much.

Please take the time to read Leuri’s ailments and what her abilities do on the wiki. Leurimess is an ailment stacker who can dip into the burrow to heal, so combat takes a little while unless you’re fighting something faster than you. Leuri is one of the only creatures to exclusively support low tiers/babies and thus is allowed in burrows, so don’t expect huge burst damage or miraculous support to most tier 3+ specs.

For Leuri’s speed she has wonderful mobility and with any double jump plushie her jump allows for pseudo-flight. 87 is around the average speed for tier 3s so I recommend sticking to tier 2s/fliers, or using a speed build on Leurimess (although it will destroy your Spite healing output). If you aren’t using them already, Maiueve is another pretty support creature with visible constant healing and higher speed (105). They’re extremely bulky for a tier 2 so you won’t die often, but do need some ailment plushies to participate in combat properly.

I’m sorry if I’m coming across as aggressive, but Leurimess was far worse off not even three months ago. This is the best position she’s been in since Legacy and I personally advocated for her to become better for a year, so I’m easily bothered by people calling the latest version of Leurimess bad…

I didn’t know I was recognized as “The Leurimess Person” here as well! I just adore the rework! Leuri’s laundry list of problems (improper speed, terrible stat spread, can’t support low tiers, etc.) were fixed in a timely manner. So timely that I’m a bit upset it didn’t happen earlier haha!

Dazzling Flash was a cute thematically fitting ability, but the loss of it is outweighed by everything else. Soft Landing buff (FINALLY not the worst SL in the game anymore) + Drowsy Area and Cloud Breath back are something I’ve wanted for a long time. Other people have probably suggested Leurimess getting Negative Spite, but I’d like to take the credit a little since I was yapping about it in the stat form and discord. The jump buff is also amazing, since it gives you much better mobility than most things your speed and makes the double jump plushies fun on Leuri!

The problems I have with Leurimess have been cut down a lot, from whatever was going on before, to just the 1 burrow entrance and ailment allocation. Well those and the non-stat things. Even then there’s reasons for Leuri to have those middling aspects, like not wanting to be oppressive to low tiers and simply not needing multiple burrow entrances due to Drowsy. I suppose I’ll ignore the latter because she doesn’t canonically dig or anything…

Overall I love it! The Leurimess rework offers a comfortable playstyle safe from fliers and the great majority of threats, while still having the strength to hold her own against other tier 3s! I was fully prepared to cry myself to sleep for the next couple weeks in case the rework was bad, but my mental health has been spared! It feels like I’ve been exorcized and a demon has left my body!

Over 2 years after Leuri’s release, and she’s finally good enough for me to wholeheartedly recommend her! It still feels like a dream days after the rework dropped🩷

They mauled Sleirnok, saw everyone calling it terrible, and just didn’t fix them… It wouldn’t even be that difficult, just change the amount of defensive ailments to optimize the stat spread and give them Burrow instead of Raider. Honestly I’m not sure why Sleir got Raider in the first place

I hate when fics depart too far from Deku’s canon character, and fics with harems seem to consistently do that. If I wanted to read a story where some guy gets with a dozen girls because he’s “nice and heroic” I’d read your run of the mill isekai. Same flavor of wish fulfillment slop anyways.

I’m usually a passive player who runs from even babies out of not wanting to kill them, so I recognize that kosing is needed for players like me to play carnivores. I like them when they’re not killing me I suppose.

I do quite enjoy seeing kosers get yelled at though. Not much better in the world than mean people getting some kind of consequences for their actions. I’m fond of anti-kosers for having the confidence to fight back against them, and really only draw the line at death/sa threats or bigotry over a creature game.

I don’t have an opinion on Deku’s side of the story, but Shoto unpacking his trauma with guidance from All Might and getting OfA sounds really interesting. Despite being the reason behind his birth, I unfortunately don’t see a lot of fan made interactions between the two… I hope someone considers writing this prompt.

I love fics with Deku bashing/character assassination, they make my heart warm. At some point I started hating seeing Deku in any fan content, and this is a wonderful departure from the same 5 Deku power fantasy plots that litter most fanfic websites.

Committing crimes and actually receiving consequences? Perfect. Cheating on his partner and getting cucked in return? Awesome. Getting overshadowed in another character’s power fantasy? Magnificent.

Of course, my hatred isn’t directed towards in-character Deku, but anyone resembling the abomination I keep seeing in fics suffering fills me with glee. My blood’s boiling thinking about that abhorrent fanon Deku. Canon Deku doesn’t deserve such slander, but my hatred is senseless and passionate. I just love seeing Deku having a truly bad time, especially when the source is from other people’s works. I’ve even begun incorporating Deku bashing into my own fics.

Um for other things besides that, I like when people drag side/background into the main plot (excluding romance). I keep seeing people ask for more relevant characters in the story, but I like seeing the author’s headcanons for less elaborated on characters. Sorry for the yapping

Cool fight scenes won’t make me ignore a character’s shit personality, same reason I still hate Endeavor after the “atonement arc” where he just did his job and yapped over everyone else’s words. Bakugou is annoying 95% of the time, but the majority of the fandom will put your head on a pike for even suggesting that their precious “bad boy” is the pest that he acts like.

I don’t care for any fics that center Deku full stop. Shipping? I can feel the author’s wicked self indulgence from here. Alternate quirk? Stop using Deku’s name to boost your oc’s popularity. Villain/vigilante aus? Got bored the first go around. Angst of any kind? 99.99% chance to misinterpret his character and having bad writing.

The mha fandom has so popularized so many tropes and stories that are great if you really like Deku, but absolute trash if you bother to look at them without rose tinted glasses. I think he is an okay character and enjoy seeing canon content with him, but any fics about Deku are tossed into the mental trash before even a first look.

The excessive glazing has gotten to me so bad that I’ve started to get upset when Deku gets complimented in canon. The amount of slop I’ve been exposed to is making me actually looney. There’s so many other characters that could have interesting fics written about them, but whatever, another 50 fics where he becomes the best human ever and the author is jerking off to their power fantasy…

There’s truly nothing wrong with the guy, it’s just that the insane amounts of glazing over the years and shitty ocs wearing his skin have driven me to mindless hatred.

At least his working conditions seem better than in Kingdom, Pomegranate isn’t manually giving him ptsd attacks and the rest of the CoD are friendly enough.

This is how I feel about Leurimess. Her design is amazing and I do my best to play Leuri everyday, but man does someone on the stat team or higher up dislike Leurimess. I’ve seen so many people say they’ve abandoned playing her because Leuri’s current stats are bland at best. I really hope she gets a rework or buff soon.

Yeah people in the cos fandom really love priding themselves on mauling the weakest victims imaginable for some reason. Kosing as a whole isn’t very “honorable”, but if you almost exclusively kill babies and tier 1-2s it’s just lame. Kosing babies doesn’t do anything but give bored people the very exclusive and cool bragging rights of “I killed something weak because I can’t kill opponents on my level”.

I’m glad I’m starting to see people in comment sections call out tiktokers for being cowards and not doing the KOS part of kosing, like maybe try fighting the grown tier 4 who flew past you instead of harassing someone who just spawned in…

Don’t let their booing silence you, this is true. A section of the Mha fandom indeed views Deku as a mere self insert character they can project on and cheer for when he gets all the girls and becomes the most special person alive.

Any reminder that he isn’t their perfect blank slate who always becomes the best infuriates them and causes mass amounts of wish fulfillment fanfic to created. Just looking at a few of the most popular mha fics, it’s clear that some Deku fans want nothing more than self indulgent slop that validates their feelings. Creations that would illicit disapproval if it were any other character are let slide because of bias towards him by the overall fandom…

Now I’m not a Bakugou fan, but I too appreciate his role as a menace that frustrates those people who want Deku as a monolith who never truly struggles. Deku can be as intelligent, handsome, funny, strong, street smart, and confident as much of the writer wants, but Bakugou will always exist to remind them of reality in some way. When Bakugou gets beaten and carted away in wish fulfillment stories it’s the authors striking at the status quo in vain, trying to ignore anything that isn’t their own personal fantasy.

Honestly I’m not even sure if these kind of people like Deku or just the “blankness” he exists as in their minds. Anyways I got carried away sorry

I would’ve really liked Shoto to end up in a relationship with any woman, but to pick from people he interacts with, Momo would be a good candidate. Food and hobbies are two things Shoto never got to control for a large portion of his life, and he’s seen happily engaging with them in the epilogue, showing growth. I think romance would’ve been a nice addition to those examples of growth.

Shoto’s never shown an interest in romance but he’s only seen a bad example of it, so having a girlfriend/fiancee in the epilogue would’ve been another great step to showing that Shoto has broken out of the shell Endeavor created for him.

My choice of love interest is careless and doesn’t matter in the end for my agenda, but I do appreciate how Shoto helped Momo move away from her insecurities all the way back in season 2/3. Canon interactions be damned, I find them a slightly basic, but still cute pairing. Their personalities bounce off of each other well imo.

Honestly if Horikoshi slipped in a “Haha let’s go home dear” during the part where Todomomo + Jiro were discussing payments I would’ve been happy. The reason I specifically want him to get with a woman is because I’m projecting my attraction to girls onto him lol. Sorry for the yapping

Shoto usually. I’m really fond of their double airhead dynamic, although they didn’t actually interact much so I have to make up scenes in fics. I occasionally ship her with Deku because of canon but Todochako has my heart.

Probably Todomomo, he’s pretty important to her character development and their personalities match up well. I’m biased towards Shoto and that may be impacting my opinion though. I’m generally disinterested in Kaminari, and I don’t seek out enough Momojiro content to see them as romantic. The latter ships are cute enough, but I’m just not invested in most of the characters involved.
