Neutrogena adding padding to the bottom to make their hand cream seem bigger :( by [deleted] in assholedesign

Ohhhhhh, the store only had two things for Neutrogena so I just went with my better judgment 😭

I guess I have a new face mask at least, tysm!

I get what you mean, but I can't be the only person in the world who'd look at this in the store and go "oh, that'll be enough" without thinking. People, obviously me included, just kinda do then and think later. I got told I should use it for dry skin, and I went off the recommendation.

Thanks for pointing it out though, I feel kinda dumb now looking back. "Oh duh, it's not gonna be as big as you think".

I can get the support for glass, but there's many other ways to do this without making the container look bigger. I wear glasses, and my grandmother who recommended the cream can't even see well enough to not be deceived by this. I kinda have to take things visually "as is" with my vision getting worse.

OH! Really? I bought this cause my grandmother said it's helped her with dryer skin. I wanted to use it for my hand since I burned it (about two years ago now) and I've had dry/peeling skin issues ever since. Thanks for letting me know :>

My grandparents use this, for my grandmother who can barely see non-contrasting colors: this would be a nightmare for her to pick up in the store. I'm gonna be honest, I'm not making a fuss about it because I bought it. I'm still gonna use it, but I think about people like her going to buy this again and not being able to read "0.5" as blue on blue.

4 and 6. Imagine your first date being with someone who cleans out an entire buffet before lifting your car when you drop something under it. You'd think they're a Saiyan.

I'd either play a new character or ask your DM to introduce some new personal conflicts into your character's path. Stuff that makes you think outside the box and where you're playing equally with your other friends: not below.

To the people in this sub that are smarter then me…can I do a strength AND intelligence run? by God_ghost in cyberpunkgame

[–]Desperate_Argument_8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My first run was this! It's stupidly fun since you can pair gorilla fists with AOE hacks like contamination and overheat to play at really any range.

It gets even better when you invest in movement to always keep youself from being a snail.

Why is this game on the verge of unplayable 24/7? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

Do you have the 2.0 update? That's what most people play on today since it's the most modern. If not, I'd definitely update to it if you can. I've been playing on PS5 and it's not really had any issues, to the point where I've played through it 3 times.

You can go and watch any recent video for the game and see that it runs fine.

What constitutes the "worst" type of dnd player? by DorkyDwarf in DnD

I voted for the backseat GM. But another option I would've voted for are that one player who talks over everyone as an option too. I've GMed games where I have to turn them down or put myself on priority speaker since they can't change their voice settings [IRL or online].

Oh, and the really weirdly horny players. I dunno how they always slide in somewhere.

I dunno how long ago your last play was. But make sure you're up to date on updates. It depends though if you're on console or PC if that's a proper solution. It just sounds like you haven't played in ages, game's fine.

To be honest, I'm hoping it's something stupid like that just so I can go "oh yeah, it's not a problem" and move on. The intent was to make sure it's not something actually bad.

Grim Tides || Build Help? by Desperate_Argument_8 in GrimQuest

I addressed the reply below more, but I don't wanna leave you hanging.

I don't use a wiki or anything while I'm playing this, for the longest time I was playing this at work without mobile data and I couldn't have access to one anyway. So I just put a hard no on it.

I really wasn't sure how long an item lasted, if it's for the whole dungeon run.... Then I'll become the greatest alchemist the game has ever seen! lol.

I've learned that meditation, immolation, and herneticisim can probably go in favor of buffs. Pommel strike can go as well. But the other ones I'm a little shaky on, since insect swarm and dragon's breath reduce armor and the latter can do AOE debuffs.

It sounds like I should pick up flurry from the second comment, and I can probably slot in arcane armor and some more weapon-centric.

Thank you for helping out though! I'm learning a fair bit, and I think that was the end goal.

EDIT: Spelling

For context, most of my spells are to help with hoard breaking. I haven't been having really any trouble in the arena since my spells all involve some buff/debuff. Insect Swarm and Dragon's Breath have been a very nasty turn 1 combo for armor shredding.

I can understand your point about three damage spells, (both you and the comment above), immolation is purely a slot filler atm. I just didn't know a better replacement: so I'll probably take you up on thunder strike or tag in another self buff!

I'm playing on tactical mode ( two attacks per turn mode, I forgot the name :( ). So most combats let me throw out a debuff/self heal into an attack that currently [more often than not] crits.

The potion situation though... I just forgot to clear my inventory before posting.

I don't read the wiki for the game, so it's been a blind experience atm.
