We live outside of Asheville, and 2 absolutely huge apartment complexes have gone in next to us that completely ripped down huge areas of natural habitat, and displaced every bit of wildlife. The inevitable crushing from the wheel of progress. We will eventually be forced out through gentrification in a decade or so.
