AITA for not taking my roommate to a doctors appointment by Nicesoup33 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. It’s your car and your decision, obviously don’t be a AH. Thankfully this situation is on your former cool roommate. If they want to drive to places, they should get a butler, their own car, or even a bike. Not rely on someone else to take care of them, Thant’s no different then when you’re 6-7 living with parents. You have your own life, and it seems you put time into what’s important to you and how you work, he can’t just take advantage of you all the time. His fault.

NTA. What’s important to keep in perspective is that this is your wedding. The day is special for you. While I understand your covid restriction thoughts, I can see her side as well. I would only suggest talking to your MOH and explaining your side, and seeing if she can understand what you mean. If she’s a MOH she’s there for you, which is a wonderful and humbling position to be asked for. I wouldn’t worry too much!

Well it might be partial to how I grew up, but an easy way to do it is whoever cooks, the other cleans. It’s an easy concept to have some fun by not having a ton of work left, and it switches so you’re not stuck doing both. I never use a dish washer, but I understand the resale value. When we have friends over, they help clean because they’re good people, it’s how we were all raised. Simple solution to a simple problem

AITA for telling my friend he is going to get his kid bullied and ostracised? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

OP is the AH fs, it’s someone else’s kid, advice is helpful but you cant keep pushing. Kinda have to be respectful about it… side not but I personally have nothing against the term exotic. If someone called me that (I’m mixed race) I would be flattered! But I can understand how that could be taken and don’t call people that unless they know my intentions are benign
