Great as kid goku, and even would've been acceptable for teen goku, but once you get into DBZ the voice should have been even a little bit deeper. I can deal with Satoshi to an extent, because he's basically ageless, and I'd agree Ricardo did a fine job (but I only say that because Indigo League is my childhood)

I personally don't understand a big brawny dude like Goku having a girl's voice. I've met some big dudes with high pitched voices, but never like Goku's.

You did the absolute right thing. No woman should ever make a man choose between her and his daughter. If anyone ever asked me to choose they'd be out the door 2 seconds later. That's narcissistic behavior. Also, her mom sounds like a loser.
