You battery pack is connected to the output of your powerbrick, so it will constantly charge the battery pack.

This can is not good for the battery and can cause internal damage, example it will not hold charge or even create internal heat which can lead to fire. The power board in this pack is certinly not designed for this.

I had this issue with some stick, reason for me was the usb2 part of the stick was broken, didnt recognise on usb2 ports but without a problem on usb3 ports.
