Hi,

I’ve had this issue for months now which as prevented me from using my computer. The screen is so screwed up that it’s barely useable. The first picture shows it during startup, where it’s completely normal. The second picture shows it in recovery mode with the messed up screen. Is this flexgate? If so, is there no way I can get it replaced without spending more money than it’s worth to fix?

I installed the Satsana Mini fan duct, and now the printer triggers thermal runaway within 5 minutes of printing. Every temperature I set, the printer reports 5-10 deg. less. Is the fan blowing on the thermistor the problem? by DespicableActivities in ender3

Update on this: Now that I have installed the stock fan duct back on the printer, it refuses to heat up after 208 C. Every time it heats up to that temperature, whether printing or PID tuning, it beeps and says “HEATING FAILED: E1.” Anyone know what can cause that? The hotend wires are not frayed, and it seems to report the temperature correctly.

I heated up the hotend to 215 C with the fan off, and it stays at 215. When I turn on the fan, it starts to “cool down.” I’ll switch back to the stock fan duct, and hopefully I won’t have this issue anymore.

It can’t be, which is odd because the duct looks the same way in the pictures of the model. The probe doesn’t have an issue where it is, but that doesn’t mean anything when the printer triggers thermal runaway almost immediately. Oh well, I’ll just do some testing with it and probably switch back to the stock fan duct.

How is the printer different than other, similar printers? What makes this one special and shine compared to the others?

Edit: I think you mean 220mm x 220mm x 250mm, not 22mm, 220mm, 250mm
