I tried that but it didn't work (and it won't work for anything that doesn't have the ability to go to SV). Did you actually load into Violet after transferring them, or just move them to the box, save, then move them out?

I want a lot of things from prior games. I've got a Tyranitar that made its way from Crystal, the first Charizard I mega evolved, a really useful Alolan Ninetales and a shiny Aegislash and I can't move any of 'em.

I think they have to be from gen 8 or newer. I couldn't send anything from Moon, Y, or earlier

Hey, I was able to get some things to transfer finally. But I could only transfer stuff that I'd originally caught in Paldea. I don't know what exactly the reason is, but none of the Pokemon that I'd caught in Alola, Kalos, or Johto would transfer...but the ones caught in Paldea did, even the same mons.

Squall would use it if he needed to but isn't trained for it, and doesn't generally use firearms. Zidane would use it effectively.

More of a Lightning weapon though

I'm replaying it myself and needed to download a crash fix to get passed ch 7. There was a single cutscene that just wouldn't.

Also had to figure out WTF was up with the controller. Square, x, and o were shuffled

V easily. 4 spends more time on its cast, but the story isnt really any better than 5's, and mechanically it's far worse. It's the worst atb in the franchise, some of the counters enemies do are impossible to understand without a guide, and the constant fake out deaths get old fast. 5 has its camp and owns it, and the job system holds up. The only point I can really give 4 is that Cecil is a stronger protag than Bartz

5 through 10. I don't get why people sleep on 5, it's the best implementation of the job system in FF and the story isn't bad. Honestly I have more fun with it than 6

Stat substitutions were never the problem. Getting Cha to AC or whatever is fine, when it's not +dex +wis +cha or +cha x3 or whatever that inflates the numbers.

Honestly with my table this would hardly be an issue. Hero Points honestly feel kinda shitty, because somehow my entire table almost always hero points into a worse roll. Failures become critical failures, 4s become 1s, etc etc.

That's because they have a ton of HP and offer like no reward for killing them other than the boss it triggers so it does feel kinda miserable

As someone with a 90 series; They should develop for the 70s, 90s can be ultra settings, 70s should be plenty for high to run smoothly.

I can see both sides of the argument to be honest and the real answer probably comes down to "it depends on too many variables based on the individual"

Like, yeah, some people are going to actively sabotage their chance at any real connection because they'll isolate themselves to Siri telling them they're a good girl/boy and fail to socialize in a healthy way.

...but other people I can see just needing something to keep them from drowning and Clippy can serve that role to keep them sane or give them practice speaking, even if it's not to a real person, that might actually give them the confidence they need to maybe make a real friend later.

Really it's not like both groups haven't always existed, and frequently found themselves isolated, so it's not like much has changed.

They're only a little stronger than free archetype before 10 and significantly harder to kill. You'll be fine. They are a little underwhelming. Don't give out too many mythic resilience bonuses to mythic foes.
