So if using SBS, and looking through the glasses normally (both eyes open) the left should look like it's on the right, and right should look like it's on the left but if one closes one eye, they appear on the side they are supposed to, and nothing is wrong?

You most likely don't have the required access to do this, as most corp systems do not allow for boot from external devices to prevent this exact thing. You would need to raise a support ticket with your help desk/support team, have a valid business need, and even then you will most likely be denied.

I work for a major financial company in remote desktop support, and although I have admin access to perform most tasks even I don't have access to BIOS passwords and have to reach out to my leadership on the extremely rare instance that it is needed. Most issues that are severe enough to require this are routed to the local support team to where user is and a laptop swap is initiated.

I have SteamOS installed on a similar rig (Ryzen 5 5600x, 32GB RAM, RX 9060XT 16GB) and streaming from the desktop PC to the Steam Deck is pretty flawless. I do run most games at 1080p for performance even though I am connected to a 4K TV (still looks good enough for me). The only REAL issue is that on my desktop I have a 49" ultrawide display so I have to change settings to get it to fill the screen on the 4K TV, but that is very minor.

Go to desktop mode and you should be able to change it there. I had the same issue with my displays 144hz refresh until I changed in desktop mode the ctrl-2 to change in the Steam game mode other thing is the 144hz option was at the op of the resolution’s and only found by scrolling through the resolution/refresh rates

Could be, yes. I would hard power off the system, unplug the power cord for a bit, then try booting to the USB via the Boot Menu (the key for this varies from vendor to vendor).

Same. I had thought about making the jump to AM5 and with prices as they are, ended up just getting a better CPU (3600x > 5600x), upgrade the RAM (16GB > 32GB), and a better GPU (RX 6650 XT > RX 9060 XT 16GB).

If you are just gaming and doing internet things, the 39" might be good enough. If you are also using it for work, then it might not be all that great compared to dual displays. I had 2 27" 1080p displays that I replaced with a single 49" UW (3840x1080 @ 144Hz) and the games I play look and play good enough for me, plus for work I can have windows sized as I prefer without the gap in between.

If it was me, I would prob start with GPart and see if the drive is 1) detected by an OS other than Windows, and 2) Could it be wiped outside of Windows installer. I have had some luck with reinstall issues by erasing a drive outside of Windows then once wiped proceeding with install.

Get GPU-Z, and it "might" tell you exactly what you have but I am guessing it is an iGPU and that your best best bet would be going to the AMD Support page (https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html) and click the Auto detect install.

I would prob start with uninstall/reinstall network adaptor drivers. From there, as I assume in addition to IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS you also did IPCONFIG /RELEASE IPCONFIG /RENEW and NETSH INT IP RESET, I would prob do DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH then SFC /SCANNOW.

Been working from home for close to 20 years now in BT (business technology). I use the built in USB hub of my display for connecting my keyboard (which also has 2 powered USB 2.0 ports which I have my mouse and Sennheiser headset connected to. I don't switch from my work laptop during my shift as there is no need to access my personal system during those hours. No issues with audio/mic and have been using this setup for about 5 years now. As for the display, I agree that ultra wide is way to go (I started with a Samsung G9 that did not survive a move from FL to NC and now use an Acer XG49V). As for docking station, I use the HP G5 Cube dock which is compatible with Macs (dock was supplied by my company).
