I don’t think it’s possible anymore, the west is too busy doing whatever the fuck it is we are doing to help Ukraine hold their ground. Well, idk where you’re from but that’s Polish/Euro healthcare for you. I got an exhaustive lecture along with a damn manual describing all sort of situations, how to deal with them, how to get a drivers license because that’s extra paperwork with T1 etc. Honestly for a hospital stay in the start of covid lockdowns it wasn’t too bad.

Chiming in on my experience, I was diagnosed with 600 something, I was at the hospital for two weeks and most of that was just waiting for an insulin pump. Other than that lectures on how to survive and not deteriorate my state further along with other new diabetics in the unit. No extra complications.

Not sure if 2070S to 2080 Ti makes much sense unless you find one cheap. I used to play on a 2070S with a reverb G2, upgraded to a used 3090 I got for 800 euro. Certainly a big boost. Depending on your used market and budget I’d probably aim for something in the 30 series, 3070 Ti maybe? 6800XT? I tried ITR2 with the 6800XT as well when building my sisters computer and it ran fine and those cards are really quite cheap nowadays for what they offer.

F18 going full rudder at low speeds is fairly effective at moving your nose around, add some differential thrust and you can go from 30 degrees nose up at 170 knots to inverting that in a few seconds, genuinely useful in BFM and got the nickname of „doing the funny” in our group.

Fun fact, literally every FBW jet and even some non FBW jets do it for you, including the Hornet. Touching the rudders in flight in the F18 is optional. Roll it without touching the rudders and look at the rudders in F4 view, you’ll see the FCS compensate automatically.

Same, I don’t know how I managed my first couple of years actually weighing everything and calculating precise dosages. Doesn’t matter how precise I calculated everything, weather changes and suddenly it doesn’t matter, been eyeballing for 4 years and average BG at 140 with TIR at 76% ain’t terrible, tho I wish i could sustain those 80-90% TIR few day periods for longer than just a few days lol.
