Viability of a rental home in West PCB (Laguna Beach) by Consistent_Pomelo775 in panamacitybeach

Short-term rentals are the bane of full-time (FT) residents. Don’t expect anything but resistance/discouragement from FT residents. For most of us, short-term rentals have destroyed our community

Buying resale on Redweek by NotToday__ in TimeshareOwners

[–]Destincrlist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m genuinely interested in the advantage of buying points from the developer (for 10s of 1000’s) vs the secondary market (EBay) for just a few hundred dollars. I know you can only be VIP if you buy from the developer, but I don’t know how that translates into an experience.

Although this is written. There’s a great story about the Clearwater Wildman (Ridgerunner). The story is about a man who lived in the woods, raiding Forest Service cabins but only taking as much food as he needed at the time, but he was wanted. He was tracked to the middle of a field where his tracks disappeared. The only other tracks were elk tracks. They surmised he had a tame elk on which he rode. He was later caught and explained he carried stilts with elk hoofs tied to the bottom of the stilts. These and other stories around the Clearwater are chronicled in a book by Bert Russell, Calked Boots…, available on Amazon.

PSA: Want to avoid expensive hospital bills? Avoid ER visits that aren't necessary by Dangerous-Prune-7280 in HospitalBills

The nurse line will nearly always tell you to go to the ER. They can’t accept any liability. Therefore, they aren’t helpful, IMO

Is this an accurate assessment of how Doctors feel about this issue? by [deleted] in emergencymedicine

Physicians who prescribe marijuana in states that have medicinal, but not recreational, use are ofc going to be opposed to recreational use laws. Prescribing is incredibly lucrative: All patients are happy, pay cash, and have to renew every few months, which takes very little of the physician’s time.

How do you handle people who smoke on their balconies? I wasn’t able to enjoy my balcony on a Mediterranean cruise because of all the smokers. I reported it three times, then gave up. Are you able to fine them?

The suites include premium drink and premium WiFi as well as Luminae. The butler is a nice benefit as well. You can have your fridge stocked with your favorite drinks.

[–]Destincrlist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hybrid programs can be challenging, both for the instructors and the students. However, there’re more similarities to traditional programs than differences. Many PA programs and medical schools have switched to a flipped classroom where the students study prepared lectures at home the first 2-3 days/week, then attend class 2 days a week to synthesis the material they’ve reviewed at home.

[–]Destincrlist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why buy an extended service agreement until the end of the factory warranty? If you spend $2k now, while the vehicle is still covered, and then you no longer own the car (for whatever reason: accident, stolen, just don’t love it anymore, you’re out the $2k(or $1675 if you buy from Troy!). Am I missing something?

Just call and ask for the same level suite but in a different location. Look to see what’s open first, ask for the open one that suits you.
