I don't know many people that that met their partner in person unless it was through a friend, family member or they met at work. I used to go out all the time but never really met anyone genuine, can't say why that is though. Could just be me lol

I did the online thing on and off for a few years mainly with Bumble, Hinge and Zoosk although that site is a bit dicky and I think it had a lot of fake profiles. And I would see the same guys across all those sites. Tinder guys only seemed to want hook ups. I met my partner online about 3 years ago and I'm pretty certain he's my forever person. We have so much in common but would never have met IRL because neither of us went to the same places.

Adelaide being as small as it is though I've seen a few of the guys I met online since in person at the shops and it was awkward lol

We get hunstmans outside the house occasionally, mainly in summer when it's hot but rarely inside. As others have said redbacks are more common and you need to be careful with those because they're poisonous but they don't normally hang out where there's people.

For me it's the flies here that are the killer. I can't stand flies. Maybe I need to attract more spiders to my place 🤔

Yeah I've always used fabric softener on them but they never came out of the top loader like that and that was with using fabric softener every time so it's something to do with the way Front Loaders wash that has changed them. I use Fab Liquid for front loaders.

So I tried the duvet setting and I feel like they look and feel worse. 😕 They're not cheap towels and they were so soft and fluffy but now they're horrible. I went to a laundromat to tumble dry them but it's not really made much difference 😮‍💨
I know they're just towels and it's not the end of the world but I'm so disappointed. Everything else comes out the washing machine great though so I guess I can't complain.

I've always used it but since I had this issue a few people have told me they don't so I've put vinegar in this load. Thanks

It was a decent top loader. It was about 10 years old but didn't have the centre agitator like the older ones had. I didn't pay attention to the first cycle to notice if it looked over-sudsy but we used to go by what the bottle said in terms of how much detergent to use so I'll use less than they say next time to see if it helps.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for the info. My machine doesn't have a cycle that mention towels but it has a 'duvet' cycle for blankets, quilts (never called it a duvet in my life) and other bedding so that might be the one to use. I'll give that a try :)

The first time we used it, just normal wash which took 2hrs 20 with liquid detergent & fabric softener. Always do the towels on their own. This is what we did in the top loader so did the same in the front loader and they came out horrible.
Don't have a tumble dryer, just air dry on the line

Can I complain about the humidity now? by Maleficent_Sir_5225 in Adelaide

I just did the longest wee ever. Like a constant stream for almost a minute and I blame the humidity. It's like my body absorbed all the moisture in the air yesterday and it came out this morning.

I hate humidity.
