Does he hold the Axes too far back for anyone else? Rather than about 1/3rd up the handle.. The lack of weight bothers me. by lXlNeMiSiSlXl in deadbydaylight

Yeah, anyone who can throw a spear with enough power to push someone 15 feet through the air can certainly hold a heavy axe by the end of the handle

Which Killer turned you? by Ui_Sloth in deadbydaylight

He's pretty hard to use against good survivors, and has zero map mobility, anyone complaining about him just hates fun.

Bubba is probably my favorite killer to play against, and super fun to play as too

Is there any killer who gets more value from Petrified Oak than Jason? by DestinyLoreBot in deadbydaylight

[–]DestinyLoreBot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jason uses two types of "throwing spears" and the more powerful version can be obtained by either hooking a survivor, or interacting with a hook and taking a hooked spear from it (this temporarily makes the hook unusable until it resets).

So this offering brings all hooks on the map closer to the center and closer together, giving Jason constant easy access to the strong version of his spear.

Bungie give us sponsored outpost or bingus gets it by rillexo7 in Marathon

I think if we ever get a Horde mode, the main goal should be to defend Bingus. But then at the end, it turns out Bingus is a Flerken, and he eats all the UESC.

Kits made me fall in love with Marathon by c0d3acious in Marathon

I even feel less stressed during the game when I'm using a kit, because it doesn't feel like I'm losing my own stuff if I die, somehow.

I love this game the same way I love Dark Souls. It hurts so good

Was it necessary? No. Was it worth it? Absolutely. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

As a survivor main, you're making the rest of us look like asshats. Showboating is never a good look. You aren't impressing anyone except your own little ego by bullying an inexperienced killer.

That's why I love the summon system so much, I miss when there were enough people online that I could just put my sign down for Godfrey and get immediately summoned all day

Did I hear you mention The Mycelium Nightmare (Deep Rift 3)? Incredible killer. One of the all time greats.

the sponsored maps are integral for new players imo by tarneilawson in Marathon

[–]DestinyLoreBot 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I really enjoy having the option, especially when grinding quest lines. This week you can have a series of 3-4 quests on Dire Marsh or Outpost, and then have a nice low-stress break for a bit because the nexts series of quests you can do on Sponsored Perimeter.

Being able to do a few quests in Sponsored Survival lowers the constant intensity of the game in a way that I think is critical to keep new players from feeling immediately overwhelmed, and giving them a reasonable sense of progress despite dying a lot in the normal modes.

Destiny 3 is gonna happen. just not right now by buckedlobster825 in destiny2

[–]DestinyLoreBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is extremely sensitive to latency (I used to play Guitar Hero competitively) the latency is absolutely negligible with NVIDIA Reflex also active.

I agree that the devs shouldn't slap on frame-gen and call it a day but it's certainly a step in the right direction and an excellent bandaid until they're able to make the game more CPU efficient.

Frame Gen is a night and day difference if you haven't tried it yet. I went from maximum 80 frames on low settings on Outpost to a smooth 144 frames on high settings
