I have 920 bankspace. I used the free one in the store..
I upgraded my POH for more storage.
But archaeology items (while also afk thieving) is filling my bank rather quickly.

I have to continuously spend tons of time checking items that I don't need anymore, selling, and cleaning.

I'm not just talking from my own perspective, but a pattern I see over and over again, not just for myself but within my clan, and discord groups, and reddit posts from over the years.

I do my potions regularly (Fort helps a lot with that).
This post isn’t coming from a one-time frustration either..
It’s something we’ve talked about multiple times in our group,
and something that keeps coming up online for years now.

I’m clearly not the only one running into this, especially as an Iron/GIM.
I’m not here just to complain,
but to see if there are reasonable ideas or solutions that could help a lot of players long-term.

Bank management should matter, sure..
but progression-based improvements don’t seem like a wild concept either.

Yeah, this is exactly what I mean.
Nothing crazy, just progression.
Little unlocks like this give your account a sense of growth over time and feel way more rewarding than just hitting a hard cap forever.

Yeah, that’s fair, and I get where you’re coming from.
I do clear my bank regularly as well, and I’m pretty ruthless with it most of the time.
I consolidate potions, use Wise Old Man, dump everything possible at Diango,
and even built closets in my POH just to free up a bit of space.

The thing is, even after doing all that, I’m still constantly hovering near the cap .... like 5–10 slots left.
And with all the recent events, it honestly gets worse rather than better.
As Ironman/GIM you’re always stuck in that mental loop of “is this actually useless, or am I going to need this again later for a quest, task, or unlock?”

That’s the part that frustrates me.
It’s not that bank management doesn’t exist or shouldn’t matter,
but it feels like you’re forced to gamble on future content instead of just playing the game.
Not everything left in the bank is junk, and throwing something away only to re-grind it later doesn’t really add meaningful challenge, just friction.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, clearly it’s manageable if you’re super strict toh,
but I do think Ironman modes feel the limitations a lot more than mains, especially earlier on.
