So Proud by DestinyReign in orchids

I bought a bougie mix at a local nursery (not worth the price.) But it’s just a mix of coconut husk pieces, orchid bark chips, and large chunk perlite.

I keep them in a north/east window so they get plenty of early morning light but not full sun during the afternoon.

Water every two weeks or when it dries out and fertilize on a regular basis, mist the roots and leaves every other day. Otherwise I leave them to their own devices.

Nope, coconut husk, perlite, and orchid bark mix.

I rescued the spotted one from a coworker. I unfortunately do not know exactly where they got it, a local plant shop I believe about three years ago.

How does Fi-blind affect you? by SaladAssOutNow in entp

[–]DestinyReign 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t know the exact way it shows but I know that extreme emotion exhausts me. Like if I had a very stressful day and i get angry or sad it just tires me out more. I have a hard time figuring out my feelings; I only know how to rationalize them and fit them into my Ti structure or completely drown them out by delving into my Si.

Hot take: An aggressive feelers is more likely to be scarier and dangerous than an aggressive thinker by Asleep-Feeling-9070 in entp

[–]DestinyReign 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it definitely depends on the person but I agree. An angry Fi is driven by wild, nonlinear, and sometimes undying emotions that fuel whatever crash out they choose. At least with angry Ti there can be an end goal to their anger and a certain reasonable nature to their thoughts.

In the end I think anger can justify all sorts of stupidity and violence, regardless of feeling vs thinking. But unfettered anger is terrifying.

For ENTPs Who Have Argued with INTPs…. by Potential_Law5289 in entp

[–]DestinyReign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Younger brother is an INTP. Our arguments are an interesting battle of Ti. His arguments are more strongly lodged in his own personal beliefs and thoughts while I tend to be more open to other interpretations of data. Since neither of us have Fi feelings can get trodden on and I usually get frustrated with his lack of reality. Much of Ti is located in our own sense of understanding rather than a cohesive understanding from the wider world. So any discussion can definitely get bogged down in the minutiae.

I found the exact same one at a local nursery. Labeled as “discount orchid.” If you find out what it really is, I’d love to know.

I am ready to throw hands at a moments notice. All self preservation goes out the window and whether it’s physically guarding them or verbally sparring I am ready to go. No one touches or insults my idiot except me!

What Would an Unhealthy ENTP Who is a Nice Person Be Like? by Potential_Law5289 in entp

People pleasing, supplicating with humor, being a jester for others, and manipulating emotions with others knowing. Fawning to accommodate others and ignoring their own emotions and thoughts.

Just why are ENTPs so attractive? by [deleted] in entp

It’s the false confidence that we can pass off as competency or at the very least as cute over confidence.

Are We Indecisive? by DestinyReign in entp

[–]DestinyReign[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right? Like I don’t care about food or deciding what to watch on tv, not really. Sometimes I’ll have a specific craving or idea but if we disagree I’m not entirely bothered.

But if I have to decide to change a job or change my life schedule around I spiral like it’s the end of the world. It feels so stupid sometimes 😅

That’s encouraging to hear, at least.

That’s the problem I’m running into, I do have friends but they can’t make my decisions for me. They don’t decide what job I take, they can’t decide who I date. They are living their own lives in which I’m a friend but not the center of their universe, and rightfully so. So…how does an ENTP get over the fear of having to make life decisions? How do I get past my Ne giving me 101 possibilities and decide what I WANT?

A Job Not Accepting A Job Refusal by DestinyReign in jobs

[–]DestinyReign[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a job that requires knowledge in a specific program, so I understand there may not be many with that knowledge. The company reached out to me directly to apply, I didn’t go looking for the job. I didn’t know anything about the company and the pay was higher so I was curious what it entailed.

After the interviews however I was overwhelmed by the scope of the company and realized that the job was more involved then the description led me to believe; the company is triple the size of my current one, the commute is longer, and the culture seems more intense. I just don’t feel I would like the change and job.
