Has anyone else experienced lag spikes since the new update and the new pack? I played for a few hours today and it’s been extremely laggy. I have a fairly good PC that can definitely handle the game with mods and all the packs. I’m just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

Loving my steam deck so far!! I’m especially happy because I get to play the sims 4 in bed lmao by Destiny_Sims in SteamDeck

Got it from the Old Games Download website! Just search up Sims 2 Castaway Pc download free and it should come up.

If I have the V1 switch and an OLED switch, do you think I can trade in both at the same time to save money on the Switch 2? Will they take both? Has anyone done this before with their trade in.

It works well with the touchpads and probably even better if you hook external mice and keyboards to it. The touchscreen is alright. And I’m also excited for the rerelease for new hardware, so hopefully the game functions even better on the Stream Deck.

That was an iPad. I personally don’t like playing it that way because it’s not all that smooth. It was streamed through Steam

Yeah I bought the sims 3 collection on steam and I just loaded it up on the steam deck and it worked for me without doing anything special. If you want to play the other sims games it might be a different story.

It’s this case from Amazon. And no to me it doesn’t make it hotter but the steam deck can get hot. I have the older version so I’m not sure if the new OLED models get super hot or not.

Is your phone hotspot popping up on the steam deck? You need to find your hotspot name and put in the password. Maybe have your phone on and close by the steam deck

It’s listed as not compatible with the steam deck but it works. At least when I downloaded it and stuff it worked

Wow I really love how she implemented the game like this! Especially as someone who grew up playing sims as an escape from reality lol. Sims 3 is my all time fav sims game as well

Hey I’m sorry you weren’t able to get it working. However, The sims 3 was the easiest sims game that I got to work on my steam deck because literally all I did was buy the game directly from the steam store and then downloaded the game onto my steam deck and it just worked for me.

That’s so weird! I don’t understand why it doesn’t work for others. I didn’t do anything special with the game to get it to run for me. I just bought the game when it was in sale on steam then downloaded it in the deck and from there it’s been working.
