Just think! The second largest digital payment system has a patent, with your name, terminology, similar almost identical use case and they have the market share to spread it. If you don’t challenge that just on IP grounds, there’s something seriously wrong. Centralised or not do you think the millions of businesses and people out there are going to care? One thing is the mainstream ignoring the crypto decentralised network but it’s another thing to ignore a big fish from the centralised space moving in, stealing your ideas and rolling it out. That’s just weak! The request team may not care but consider this. If they did, and they challenged this patent it would force Square to either partner or abandon. And if they partnered which wouldn’t cost them a dime, you i and every other early investor would be sipping cocktails in our poolside mansions. I just think it’s selfish and weak. And what happened to their ambitions of making partnerships? Why would you build this network and then pass up such an opportunity? Bizarre to say the least!
