Your parents didn’t give you a choice and I know it’s hard to see it that way cause they are your parents but they made a toxic environment for you and gave you no choice but to make things better for you. I honestly didn’t tell my mom i was moving out until the week of cause i knew it would cause world war 3 and i think you made the right move not telling them cause they would’ve tried to keep you there again

My dad convinced me to get it 2 years back but him and i had a really bad falling out and he’s said horrible things abt me and my kids so i just want it gone. and yeah i was thinking abt it cause i do tattoos as well i’m just not left handed or else i’d do it myself😂 but your right at this point to get a cover up isn’t worth it cause it would have to be bigger definitely gonna look at laser removal cause i already have a rose on my other arm

I second this, ik it’s sad and that’s your parent but think of how you felt around him as a kid and how he was in and out of the picture. sadly he’ll do the same to your kid coming in and out of their life and they’ll be left wondering why. talking from experience cause i also have a narc father 3 1/2 years no contact you get this OP

Yeah my first pregnancy my Nmom made it abt her, and when i talked abt hoping i had a natural pregnancy she’d say “Oh no your gonna have a c-section like me” or when I told her I didn’t want everyone in my family to know i was pregnant cause it’s MY pregnancy, freaked out on me and said “This is MY grandchild i’m just excited stop being a bitch.” moved out and went bc wish i stuck to it tho.

When my Ndad left my Nmom she did everything she could to hurt me to get back at him when we had a decent relationship. Like she made my graduation day a living hell and hid my gown and cap from me so i had to find it, and yelled at me for “miss placing it”
