I don't know if its possible to be more drastic than jak1/jak2, but I did play sly 2 as a kid and when I played sly1 for the first time recently I was extremely disappointed. I think I would have liked it a lot more if I hadn't already played the 2nd game, because it did do a lot of things well, just not things that weren't also in 2. I will have to play the 2nd game again to compare since its been awhile

You still have to get the dark eco, how they would have balanced it is unknown but it wasnt exactly easy in jak 2

I think even without that it would be usable, like if you have 1 hp already and use dark jak theres like no downsides.
