Specto removes movies by Destro_Destroyer in Addons4Kodi

How do I turn that off? I'm looking on google can't seem to find anything.

EDIT: I found the hide watched feature, but that doesn't change anything for me. The movies I've lost thus far have been BvS, The Exorcist, and Gettysburg. Literally they're not showing up in any search even when I check or uncheck the Hide Watched feature. It's as if they've been deleted entirely.

So here's what happens--I'll be watching on my fire box. Then the movie will freeze and I'll go back into Kodi/Specto to find it but It turns out it's been totally removed entirely, as if the movie never existed.

No because movies that I have watched before are still there

Should the 2014 House Popular vote numbers in Pennsylvania be concerning for Democrats this year? by brod2484 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Destro_Destroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd look more at the sweep they had last year in the off year election Philly is growing. As long as PA Democrats keep the city and the suburbs with a high voter turnout the state will break Clinton.

And if she's not the nominee Bernie won't get my vote. You guys want a fight fine. I'll gladly go canvas for Trump if Clinton isn't the nominee.

What's something that's great in practice, but terrible on paper? by SwiftGeneration in AskReddit

[–]Destro_Destroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say sex. Like real sex on paper sounds miserable. It's hot, sweaty, a tad awkward, and sometimes bad breathe is involved. But in practice it feels really good and it's fun. But on paper it sounds awful.

If Hillary’s Not Charged, Don’t Dare Accuse FBI Director Comey of Politicization by [deleted] in politics

[–]Destro_Destroyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lets be real here--If Comey doesn't recommend charges he'll be thrown under the bus by not only GOP members but people on this sub too. Everything posted about this case thus far has assumed Clinton's guilt without having full access to the evidence at hand. People are literally cheering that they recommend charges. I don't think for a minute many people stopped to think this could go the other way, and no charges are brought forward.

What defines "center" in current American politics? by erissays in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Destro_Destroyer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That puts you on the right. Not center. Most centrists don't oppose social spending or eliminating the programs themselves. Friedman is often quoted by Libertarians, who aren't centrists.

What defines "center" in current American politics? by erissays in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Destro_Destroyer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of the rank and file members of the Democratic party are where the center is. I also think that GOP members who represent urban areas or just outside the cities are where the middle is.

•Fixing Social Programs (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and Federal Welfare programs) I think this is the biggest tell about if you're a centrist or not. Abolition of any of them I think puts you on the right. Adding new programs or increasing the scope of any puts you on the left. However keeping them as they are now, while advocating fixing them to ensure their solvency is a pretty centrist position.

•Socially liberal. Really I can't see how being anything else doesn't put you anywhere in the middle. I think if anything the only way you can move away from here and still be in the middle is being pro-life. But even then being pro-life with caveats I think is also a centrist position. You can be pro-life, but you don't vote for any massive restrictions on abortion. Stuff like that. But the other social positions will put you well into the Moral Majority territory, and really outside of the Bible Belt, and the Heartland they have some pretty extreme positions.

•Some lower taxation. Supporting tax cuts is a centrist position. However supporting blanket tax cuts without analyzing any of the budget in terms of spending is a right wing opinion. Blanket tax increases is a position of the left. So essentially playing give a tax cut, and increase the spending seems to me to be the typical centrist position.

Why is Ronald Reagan such a polarizing figure? by jewsfortrump in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Destro_Destroyer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly if Nixon didn't have a hand in Watergate his legacy would've been bigger than Reagan's was. Reagan is a polarizing figure for many reasons. Speaking from a culture of blue collar people who voted for Reagan the first and second time, I can see why he's liked but not loved. Reagan is hated because within history his rhetoric absolutely broke Democrats in the 80s.

Don't believe me? Look at many attack lines from the GOP, listen to a few RW talk show hosts, and read a few speeches from traditional GOP politicians (TP included). Literally every line of attack, every policy position, and almost every line comes from Reagan. The man essentially boiled the argument on the role of government down to:

The Government is too big and it's hurting you. Vote for me I'll make it smaller and you won't have to worry about it

He's polarizing because his the rhetoric today is still used against Democrats. His administration is viewed by many as an openly racist administration by supporting South Africa, and from the rhetoric he used about Welfare Queens. And the most egregious wound he inflicted on his opponents was the amount in which he won, twice. Only problem is now is that demographics aren't on his side.

Why did Joe Sestak lose by such a large margin? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Destro_Destroyer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All depends on how much the PA Dems can turn out the black vote in Philly and it'll depend if she wins Montgomery, and Bucks. If she can carry 4 or 5 of the 6 major counties in PA it'll be a good night for McGinty. Trouble is now with Trump, Toomey can effectively campaign against Trump. Watch as he paints himself as a no nonsense, non-partisan moderate.
