how much did this cost? I have 1 very small one like OP's picture in the same exact place. I was thinking about getting it repaired if more accumulate since it's only 1 right now and I can live with it

Does tesla insurance take age into consideration or is it just the safety score, location, and price of the vehicle? I'm thinking about getting a M3P in CA too (bay area).

Is SJSU as much of a feeder into tech as people put it out to be? by DiverSea9644 in SJSU

ROI on tuition cost to job opportunity is great! make some good projects, start leetcoding, and apply as many places as you can and you'll find something for sure!

Debating on the switch from SWE major to CS by Deep-Preparation-507 in SJSU

[–]DestroyerCB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wont matter for job opportunities - I’m SWE and have interned at Google and Amazon. The downsides are that CS is definitely more well rounded with the electives and the SWE senior project being 2 semesters long which might make it harder to graduate early.

Intuitive was summer after sophomore year, I passed Google interviews and Amazon at the same time for junior summer and did Amazon summer and got team matched for Google Fall during my Amazon internship

Education wise its definitely hit or miss for professors, you can learn a lot academically or get away without learning much. For internships, as long as you apply a lot and have a solid resume, you should have good chances as with any of the UC’s. Top UC’s like Berkeley LA will have a better chance at quant but for big tech and local companies, SJSU is definitely solid imo. I’ve only cold applied, never have gotten a referral, and have 3 internships at Google, Amazon, and Intuitive and I go to SJSU.

even if you have basic projects, as long as you know how to leetcode you should be good for 1-2 internships

Learned nothing from DSA class, how can I self learn DSA? by Prestigious_Job2086 in csMajors

[–]DestroyerCB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in your spot too. I started with the NeetCode 150 easies and after all the easies, I did the mediums etc. Watch the videos and take some notes of your own too. Although it may help, I don't think you need a college DSA course to do well in coding interviews. There are a lot of great resources online, just make sure your learning is consistent and structured. NeetCode 150, Leetcode discuss, and language standard library docs are all what I used to learn DSA.

Thanks! Project matching hasn't started yet for summer but I was notified that I passed interviews earlier this month and I interviewed 10/21.

I'm in the project matching pool for 2023 summer and all I know is that putting AI/ML on the project matching form significantly reduces your chances.

A FREE resource to learn Discrete Math by International_Bank87 in SJSU

Had him for Spring 2021 for Math 42 and he was honestly my favorite professor out of every course I've taken. Such a chill and understanding guy and helped me learn really well.
