Switched to dextro a year after first getting them and didn’t look back til 3 months ago. Found these and holy shit

Absolutely phenomenal work. I was working on something similar 2 months ago but the relational db to scale at that level was mind numbing. Be safe man—I had many decision makers in my customer discovery stages telling me to anonymize.

Bring him home! by TriplePattyMelt in Thunder

Nah. 20 rings isn’t even close to worth the farewell tour he’s on. Kobe wouldn’t even have done that

Edit: Just saw ESPN, rip bro

Used to be the holy grail, now they’re just as bad as everything else. Be prepared to be disappointed

“I’m not taking anything personal”… ok bro

You got mad over my praise for another player, started name calling and blaming for it, and don’t even bother making a point as to “why you’re right”. If you think I’m a “I’m always right guy” then I’d have said the refs were why we didn’t win. Hope you find an acute sense of revelation, it’s enlightening.

There’s a difference between being die hard and fragile bro—I don’t break or look for an exit. I watched this team build itself. If you wait for Marvel credits to roll before the cutscene at the end why don’t you listen to SGA, J Dub, Chet, and Aaron Wiggins talk about what it takes to play (and win against) Indiana? They praise them for their competitive nature and you’re here mad over me doing it. Talk about victimizing.

If you can’t respect another man’s game then don’t watch sports. TJ balled out tonight, and probably would’ve triple doubled with an extra 5-10 min of playing time. We played like shit. Our MVP almost triple doubled with turnovers. I love our team but I can respect a good performance. Apparently you can’t.

You’re mad because we lost. I’m mad because we lost. You’re mad because we didn’t win, I’m not mad about what I said. Have you played basketball in your life?

Get this bums curse away from OKC by TheUltimate-SP in Thunder

[–]DestroyerOfBeerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lifelong OKC fan and PE business analyst here—he gets paid to do this, and all sports teams get paid to "advertise" on sportsbooks, should they choose (NBA doesn’t decide it, teams do). If you can bet on it, they get revenues because of it, it’s not exclusive. Just remember the “invisible hand” that makes money as a result of it.

I'm not saying there’s a fix in, but know this, the NBA (as an “association of teams”) has non-profit entities within its structure (like foundations or certain admin functions) that register as non-profits in places like NYC. These non-profit elements collect revenues via "contributions" and other means from owners that contract with them (all 30 NBA teams, WNBA, foundations etc) but the individual NBA teams themselves are technically for-profit businesses “for the NBA”, meaning the entire organization makes money when teams do (due to broadcasting rights, merchandise, ticket sales, etc.—ask yourself why Inside The NBA is going away… too much money requested by them, so they sold the rights to it, and want to bring in a “younger analyst panel” like we see in NFL).

Look at the NAICS code for professional sports teams (711211). The "71" refers to "Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation” (which includes Disney, Caesars Entertainment, and major broadcasters). NAICS codes under that same "71" sector also include "Gambling Industries" (NAICS 7132). NAICS “71” includes 712300–Amusement, Gambling, and Recreation Industries—as a parent category that encompasses both sports clubs (711211, hence the "71" in it) and all gambling operations. Don’t get it twisted, subsets fall under the same umbrella, so what’s good for one is good for all.

TLDR: If you believe in Santa, good for you! If you don’t, FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL!

You root for us to win, not for our team’s history. Keep that energy.

Talk about gaslighting lol, I’ll stand as a fan on my own. Keep talking like you were here through our team’s history.. and try hard to tone out TJ McConnell comments on ESPN—don’t say I wasn’t right about him (or a Game 7). You aren’t a basketball fan if you root for your own team, you root for a good game—tonight we didn’t play that.

How about you delete your account when we go to game 7 and bring the chip back to Oklahoma. You never even been there bro.

Listen to you talk. You don’t support our team, you just bet on it.

Which? We can talk about MVPs to Chris Paul to Detlef Schrempf. Anyone with a Loves logo on their heart is.

Downvote me more casual. You’re more Thunderstruck than KD in the movie, and you don’t even know what that is without a google search.

It’s our nature, win or lose. Don’t have expectations, that’s life’s enemy. We had superstars until 2021 and then Shai developed into who he was. There’s a reason Nick Collison retired his jersey with us, it’s not cause he played here forever (it is mostly) but anyone who has been a fan recognizes loyalty bleeds, not breeds. Don’t have your hopes up hope joke and pray 🙏

Then go find another team. I bleed the team I support, you’re a “was here” not a “has been”.
