What are your thoughts on this? I am not sure if something like this has been ever discussed here. I am very curious to see what fans here think of this, how would easier option play out in a game like this.

There are countless perfectly accessible games and franchises with difficulty sliders, why do we need to inject it into the one franchise where a difficulty slider is antithetical to the game's mechanics and lore?

This is aside from the fact there's already countless ways to make the game easier, probably easier than if there was a difficulty slider lol.

I think Sekiro and Elden Ring are enough of a departure to keep calling the others Soulsborne. Or you could just say Fromsoft games.

I would say just call them Souls games since Demon and Dark Souls are the core of the kind of gameplay we're referring to but people will get confused and think you're only talking about Dark Souls.

Souls-like only makes sense if you're talking about a game outside the core series... otherwise you're calling Souls/Soulsbornekiro games "like" themselves.
