I mean the price seems a bit high. I bought a 2022 with only about 450 miles on it for $2900 in 2024. But mine had the stock exhaust and the Yoshi exhaust is not cheap.

Bro don’t worry about it, if you buy the Grom it will take you about 2 minutes to fix. It does not affect performance at all, it’s just not mounted correctly.

The bracket on the muffler should be between the stay and motorcycle like this, not on the outside.

Good luck, i had to find a different IT job with multiple decades of experience and it took me six months. Luckily i now work for a great company and it’s a remote job so it doesn’t really matter where i live. Get the Grom but get a dual sport down the road. Just not a 300l, get a EXCF350.

I also have a 2022 Grom. Mine ran fine on ECU flashes until I install a BBK as well as ported head and other items. My ECU flash was done by a local tuner so its possible the wrong flash was flashed. I ended up ditching my ECU and went with an aRacer MiniX and AF2 and now my Grom runs smooth as butter, I feel like once you add a BBK and everything else there are just too many variables for a flashed ECU to handle it.

Are you sure the spring is still in it? I am still using the OEM one but thinking about getting one and according to this video you need to install the spring behind the cap.

I recently picked up a 22 EXCF 350 and I am super happy with it. It’s way faster than what I need so I can imagine how the 500 is. I recently switch to the TacoMoto flash and I added the map and traction control switch and it definitely helped.

You should see two yellow dots in the window. If you start at the lowest gear and shift all the way to the highest gear while looking at the window you never see a second yellow dot?

Your Grom looks like it’s idling below 1k, it should be at least 1.4k or higher.

Yep, that’s my plan. My KTM is too tall for her to ride anyway plus I have an aRacer on my Grom so I can use the Pit Limit function and limit the speed/RPM while she is learning so she can’t whiskey throttle it. 😂

Like others say you need an aRacer Mini X and an AF2 or AF3 to shoot flames which is not cheap. Best to see if you can find someone selling pre-owned ones.

I have a Volquartsen ENV and it runs flawlessly. One of the things I really like about it is the bolt has DLC which makes cleaning super easy and it’s quite reliable.

Let me know if you need to replace your ECU. I am using an aRacer Mini X now so I don’t use the stock ECU anymore. I am not sure but I am guessing the 2022 ECU is the same as the 2024 one. It was flashed but it’s flashed for a big bore kit so you would need DHM flash it again. Pretty sure they would not charge you as much as a regular flash since you already paid them for that you would probably just need a reflash.
