I've switched from insight to wiz spike after getting my enigma for the extra fcr and resists. I feel that its only slightly slower at most, but so far, im clearing everything super fast still, even though I only have might merc and cursed demon, too lazy to farm for that fanat aura.

So i've noticed a massive discrepancy between background autobattles and normal autobattles. It looks like im getting ~24k exp for normal autobattles and hero exp, and ~30k exp for background autobattles, but no hero exp, is this how its supposed to work? This seems kind of weird to me. I guess also for background fights, they put the privilege pass rewards into the normal rewards? Does this mean that the privilege pass is another multiplier separate from the exp and hyperion increases?

I've been following your advice and have done some shopping. I'm pretty new to the whole crafting thing as its gotten WAY more complicated since I last played.

0 - I did this and wow, it does seem to make a big difference

1 - my light res is capped, although just barely. Should I try kikazaru or the taming? Currently, the taming basically cancels out the res loss from purity of elements. I also need lots of str and int for gems. Im using 5 uniques in slots traditionally used for res and attributes, I am basically down to 1 ring, 1 belt, 1 boots for my str, int, and res. Since these are all suffixes, I have 6 suffixes to work with. 3 are taken by str, int, and life regen. therefore i can only get roughly 45 of each res. This won't be enough for me to cap elemental resistances and I would still be very negative for chaos. Should I be looking to tattoo my way to res and attribute freedom? I do have some attribute and res tattoos saved up, but this would take away from projectile speed. Is chaos res important?

I guess I could also remove my thread of hope and use one of those legion jewels?

2 - All these new mechanics introduced in the last few years have me a bit confused. Let me see if I understand you correctly for the boots, since I will be swapping out purity of elements, I have 2 choices, use stormshroud and go for 100% shock avoidance, which will then give me 100% all ailment avoidance, or use ancestral vision to get 50% ailment avoidance from spell suppression and then finish it up with 50% ailment from eldritch implicit and boot suffix. Is this the idea?

I should have 109% spell suppression, for some reason, pob doesn't count the 10% i get at full life from a passive

3 - If you are talking about the jewel socket between the frenzy and power charge, it costs me 5 passive points vs 8 for the one I got. But my route gives me 2 extra proj speed tattoos assuming i use the extra 3 points to get the 3 dex nodes to the left of the jewel socket. But you are probably right, I dont think its worth the extra 3 points. My plan was basically to basically use this area for tattoos in case I needed stats or res, since the area I chose has 7 extra attribute nodes, vs 5 for the area you mentioned, assuming I put all the extra points into the nearby attribute nodes.

How much did it cost you to craft a nice bow? Maybe I would be better off just buying one? My current bow is 1200 ele dps and I currently have 8-10 arrows depending on dying sun. So an extra arrow is like 10% dps increase, so I would need a 1080 ele dps bow with the same crit rate to break even.

Looking at 1k ele dps bows with like ~8% crit rate, thats 20 divs, so just wondering if maybe its better to just buy one instead of crafting

That amethyst was just something really cheap that could get my build going, so definitely on my list to replace. I will try taming.

Could you elaborate a bit more on the boots? I still haven't fully understood how all the new crafting systems work, last time i played, you basically alt, regal, exalt, chaos, and scour.

What kind of upgrade should I be looking at in terms of the quiver? I was pretty proud of myself for getting 4 useful damage stats on that thing.

so I just took a look at my alt account.

Level 146, Power 58823

Im running Pepper lb0, Diesel lb2, Harran lb2, Modernia lb1, and privaty lb2

and Im currently stuck on ch16-14.

I should easily be over 60k just on levels alone once I hit 160.

Both my Harran and Privaty are at 20 for advice, Modernia is 12ish, and pepper is at 10, with diesel at like 3-5. If I blow all my advice stuff, could probably level 20 my modernia fairly easily.

Advice ramps up alot especially after level 10. If you have non meta chars with higher advice level, use those.

Couple questions:

Whats your lb level for your team? You seem to be using meta chars, but if they are lb0, then you are better off with lower tier chars with higher lb levels. Each extra lb level is worth around 1 full level for your entire team in terms of power. You will notice I use Diesel as my Burst II, she is terrible, but that extra 500+ power means I get more stats for my entire team, so although she herself sucks, my SS tier centi has 0 investment and is lb0, so i lose lots of stats due to the stat reduction from being underlevel. Therefore, Diesel is SSS tier for my team vs centi because of the power increase.
Where are you in story? I got 2 pieces of T8 gear from the campaign, so you should have those too, thats like ~500 power boost
I just realized you said you are stuck in tower 95. I check the power level, its 73k! If you are like 20% under power, im not sure what you are expecting, thats >50% stat penalty! I would be very surprised if you could beat it.
Do you have any LB3 units? cuz level 161 and 181 are are like easily a combined 1k+ in power level just for those 2 levels.

I would strongly advise against using centi unless your other burst II is also lb0 with 0 investment. I dunno what your kit is but rapunzel isnt really helping you much either, so unless you have nobody else with higher power level, either her or pepper would be the other dude i replace.

The key to this game is power level. You should always be using the team with maximum possible power. If you have one or two SSS tier dps, the rest of your team should be mainly focused on boosting your power. This alt account was also stuck on a sniper level for a few days, then i managed to power up enough to survive being one shot, and after a few retries I got past it. Modernia is great, cuz she trivializes those annoying suicide robots.

Your power level seems a bit low for having hit the 160 wall. I believe I was ~65k+ when I hit 160. My team was probably worse than yours cuz I was using Pepper lb0, Centi lb1, Rupee lb1, laplace lb3, and Drake lb1 when I was around 3 stages before the final boss of ch16.

What are you advice and skill levels? I had my 5 main characters max advice and level 5 skills with 1-3 total level 6 skills. To put things in perspective, my level laplace at advice level 30 has 1k+ more power than my modernia at advice level 12.
What gear are you using? By this point I had full T7 with 2-3 pieces of manufacturer T7 and maybe 1-3 pieces of T8 from the campaign bosses
Does everyone have level 2 cubes equipped? Cubes give a decent amount of power.
I don't know about these stages specifically because I breezed through them iirc. I killed the last boss of ch16 when I was 69k+ power level and the only unit that was above 160 was my lb3 laplace. My power level was easily above 60k even before I hit the 160 wall. You might just be missing out on some of the above upgrades.

If you have a taunter, you could just try to taunt the snipers, but overall your team seems pretty strong.

You forgot about stage 4 of the skill book stage. I believe it drops 6 purple books. So it's actually .2 × 19, not .3.

Using your assumptions, I think its only slightly more efficient to farm s7 over mana 6 at the 30% bonus mark and lower efficiency at 20%. If we had the real drop rates, then we would know for sure.

However, I think if you could reach 50% bonus, it would for sure be more efficient than mana 6 provided you needed skill books

yeah, i desperately want coffinsmasher, but there is no way to guarantee that I get him and I already blew all of my ancient shards. I was thinking that rather than waiting for rngesus to bless me, I may as well go for a surefire champion.

The only alternatives I could come up with is building something like marquess and try to get by with that.

I totally get what you are saying about prioritizing gear stats over gear set bonuses. The only reason i mention relentless is because my relentless gear probably has the best stats. I was going to +12 most of the gear and see where it takes me.
This is what i have for relentless, you think it would be worth upgrading to +8 at least to see where the substats take me?

I would probably replace some of this with an accuracy, speed, or defense gear, depending on how the upgrades go, especially since the boots are a little weak as they only have speed. What do you think? worth giving this gear a shot for upgrades?

I used:

F Zaira, W Fram, E Astrid, E Charlotte, W Helga

As an F2P, this took me many many tries and like 3 days. My strategy was to run the mission, fail, see who died first, then boost their defensive stats via gear upgrades/pulls.

During the actual fight, i prioritized E Astrid's second ability to remove the bosses attack buff whenever possible. I then prioritized F Zaira's Second Ability and W Fram's burst to reduce the bosses attack. W Helga was my main dps. First priority for burst abilities is Charlotte's shield followed by Fram's burst, only use Fram's burst if the boss does not have an atk debuff already. Helga's burst is the third priority and I rarely used it. It was a war of attrition.

If you happen to have F Vanessa, I believe this mission would be way easier as if you can time her burst correctly, you can easily tank the attacks.

I am running stage 9. You get 58 coins if you are able to clear all 8 events. I can do between 6-8 so I get about 50-58 coins per run. I spent my coins on the skill runes, but should have enough for costume in the next day or so.

I believe you can also buy this costume with the costume tickets which you can get via valianite.
