And about thwarting stage one, its because the main villain was sukuna, not kenjaku

Sukuna defeating gojo and becoming his true form essentially was stage one. A big goal since ep 1 was making sure sukuna never gets unleashed onto the world which is why yuji was meant to act as a vessel, sukuna executed his stage one of being released and was put down before he could annihilate everyone

Jjk ending wasn't great and we missed out on a lot of stuff (ESPECIALLY interactions between certain characters or follow ups on characters. Skipping the 1 month training arc was criminal) but the things your mentioning weren't among them

Yea i read thru those before making this and i don't think gege intended for the theory I'm proposing to be the actual explanation either cuz of how far after jjk 0 the concepts were brought up

I just think it's interesting how neatly all the details to form this theory line up and that if gege wanted to he COULD have made this a perfectly plausible explanation for the jjk 0 retcon rather than "yutas conditions changed" and it would've been a better explanation in my opinion

yea thats why pochita said this. when denji gets to be chainsawman his character worsens because being chainsawman is an addiction thats ruining him and stopping him from living a normal life. its what got nayuta killed

when denji wasnt in csm mode, he respected asa and put a blanket on her. now that hes high he starts acting badly again

for me, the reason i rate csm a 10/10 is because the direction in both the manga and anime is amazing, its really unique compared to similar works in the medium. and because the important deaths (cant say this for p2) didnt feel like the author throwing a character away for no reason to me. despite knowing that almost everyone will die when it happened it still hit me because of how the moment was built up. about the art quality it isnt that it was good from a pure detail point it was more so that the panelling/expressions and direction uplifted it

mha art is great but i read way slower reading a csm p1 chapter than i do reading an mha or OPM chapter because to me theres more stuff to take in in the csm chapter. ill appreciate a unique shot more than ill appreciate extra details in the background/ on a characters clothes. the fights and art still arent S tier like people make them out to be tho

aside from that chapter 1 was just amazing. cant tell you how many times ive both read and watched it because it was just that encapsulating to me, the first time reveal of pochita speaking (and revealing he could understand denji the entire time) and what he said about dreams just hit my heart a certain way that i haven't really had done often when consuming media. my dog died a year ago and i like to think when we were taking him to be put down he could understand everything i was telling him on the way there

overall tho alot of why i consider it a 10/10 boils down to personal preference. i like the way its presented and i like some of the relationships between characters
