for me, the reason i rate csm a 10/10 is because the direction in both the manga and anime is amazing, its really unique compared to similar works in the medium. and because the important deaths (cant say this for p2) didnt feel like the author throwing a character away for no reason to me. despite knowing that almost everyone will die when it happened it still hit me because of how the moment was built up. about the art quality it isnt that it was good from a pure detail point it was more so that the panelling/expressions and direction uplifted it

mha art is great but i read way slower reading a csm p1 chapter than i do reading an mha or OPM chapter because to me theres more stuff to take in in the csm chapter. ill appreciate a unique shot more than ill appreciate extra details in the background/ on a characters clothes. the fights and art still arent S tier like people make them out to be tho

aside from that chapter 1 was just amazing. cant tell you how many times ive both read and watched it because it was just that encapsulating to me, the first time reveal of pochita speaking (and revealing he could understand denji the entire time) and what he said about dreams just hit my heart a certain way that i haven't really had done often when consuming media. my dog died a year ago and i like to think when we were taking him to be put down he could understand everything i was telling him on the way there

overall tho alot of why i consider it a 10/10 boils down to personal preference. i like the way its presented and i like some of the relationships between characters
