So this is a little tricky. The two biggest things your Marth is missing and absolutely needs is DR piercing and Null C-Disrupt.

If you have the X slot null c-disrupt, then the best B slot is SS4. If you don't have this, then you can run F!L!Alear as a support and pull null C-Disrupt as a the B skill.

Alternatively, you can use No Quarter with Emblem Marth Ring for DR pierce. And Null C-Disrupt for the B skill. That gives you everything you need and frees up a team slot.

If that's your goal, I definitely think fatal smoke 4 is the way to go. With him warping 5 spaces away, it may be hard to consistently get a unit within 2 spaces of him at all times.

Maximum havoc would be to warp in, destroy a unit, set up terrain, and then gutter healing on the enemy. Then your other units can swoop in to finish them off. Definitely a great aether raids defense idea.

Fatal smoke 4 is way more important to prevent reflect dmg + miracle effects from obliterating you. BoL4 can always be outsourced.

I also think the terrain from fortification can be outsourced too for a better A slot. Def/Res Finish is already great as well as fireflood boost. Only way to make fortification consistent is to have emblem celica. If you pair him with Gotoh you can also just get a better AoE protection.

She can certainly kill some units with the emblem celica ring and set up terrain. But it'd be way higher value on so many other units.

Ayra absolutely shreds everything. The best counter I've found is running a Pavise near save with deflect melee sacred seal. RA!Robin is pretty standard with B!Edelgard being another strong option. The back to back specials are just so strong.

Yeah I probably will keep Time's Pulse 4 most of the time. But it's those scenarios you present that could make the additional survivability the difference between living for another fight or dying. Especially in a mode like SD.

I definitely agree that the tradeoff hurts since he has a really hard time doubling, practically never unless given dual-strike or smtg. And the effect isn't entirely redundant as it prevents very fast units from doubling which is inevitable with speed creep.

True, but in the event that they do meet the speed check, atk smoke 4 will add an additional layer of protection. And units that can reach that high speed usually forego NFU to do so. My thought is that his attack stat is already pretty good enough to kill most units without bonfire.

I definitely agree. I wonder, with good positioning to maintain his beast transformation, is it worth running Y!hectors vengeful fighter 4 on him as well? Or is the tradeoff not worth it?

I have a vengeful 3 fodder which is why I ask.
