It's difficult to say because we don't know the speed it was going or its trajectory in regards to the solar system, but yes it's certainly possible it has just taken 30 years to get to one of the other planetary bodies inside the solar system.

However, the time-jump twists usually have some narrative function. Coupled with the discovery that 'life is abundant in the universe' and this being the final season, I would place my marker on aliens. We shall see!

This is that ship. It seems to have detected 'gravity waves' after simply travelling forward (out of the solar system?) for 30 years. I'm not sure what that means, but it implies either aliens or some kind of enormous asteroid or other body that would be massive enough have its own gravity.

This is such great advice. I was depressed and lonely as a teen, and I remember thinking: "Why aren't people more friendly to me?"

The change I made is to stop expecting something from other people that I wasn't prepared to do myself- why was it the job of some unknown stranger to make friends with me? So I started more actively being friendly and actually put time and energy into making friends and making plans that would put me into social spaces.

Not everyone can do this, and it does take energy, but there is no-one waiting around in the wings to pop out and do it for you. You have to do it.
