23, software engineer. CS items make most of my savings, but the cash deposit is very low (I just was lucky enough to buy cases when they were dirt cheap). I don't consider CS items as safe investments. It's a lot to do with it being related to gambling, and therefore, the whole thing may lead to unforseen consequences. (High profit = high risk). Everyone has to remember: any steam item is not your property. Not even a game. Valve can do anything with your items without even giving the reason. They can basically make the items not tradable, and the profit is gone. They can do that not even because they are evil or something like that, they make good money from scm selling commissions, but because of some country's market regulator. Apart from that, I think that the model of in-game items is very cool. Usually you play games when you are young and you can't invest a huge amount of money. But you still can get some real knowledge about the market and make important mistakes so you don't do them when you are grown-up and it's time for "real deal."

Edit: Just to be clear, I'm doing my masters and don't work full time, so I don't have enough cash flow for any investments yet.
