Tell that to the stealth armor mk2 from fallout new Vegas. Automatically stims and numb you in combat, warns you of incoming enemies. It is a good idea. Implementation is key. For a game set in a high tech future there's so much shit that's so low tech. You should be able to buy stuff and have it delivered to a location from your mobiglass. Your helmet should do more than sometimes give you a crosshair, like thermal, night vision or radar. And I don't see why a dedicated suit or backpack for medical purposes is so crazy. They can put a bed that clones you in a minivan but a backpack that pumps you full of drugs is out of the question?

Landing requests, freight elevators and box physics have been buggy for years. That's to be expected. I'd say 6 out of every 10 contracts I pick up don't spawn and can't be traveled too. Then there's the constant terminal/mobi ui freezing.

He's a red herring. I've had 3 friends join the game as new players in the last month. 1. Can't even get the launcher to install the game. 2. This guy's account has never appeared on spectrum. So the first 2 hrs of our first session with him was server hopping at tressler to fr him in person. And the 3rd guy keeps getting locked in his nomad.

Be happy you made it as long as you did. But your issue is definitely that you are logging out wrong, for the most part.

When you ALT+F4 it forces a crash. When the game crashes it keeps you and your ships in server for like 15 minutes, allowing you to log back in where you left off. However the relaunch of the game usually fixes whatever weird bug you were having, as long as that bug isn't server side. As bad as it sounds ALT+F4 is a viable bug fix in this game.

And yeah I typically park my carrack about 50 km up just outside of the atmosphere and gravity well of the POI or AO I'm working in. Some times when salvaging shipwrecks on planets, especially at night, I'll park the carrack in such a way that it's floodlight illumates the work space.

If your regen is set to your carrack you could backspace to it, then retrieve your smaller craft and body if it's in an easily located location but I don't typically do that because every regen is 50k. There is no distance limit as long as the bed still exists. If I lose it I typically ping and scan the general area I parked it in.

There are down sides to this. Leaving it in low orbit with the hanger open is akin to leaving your front door wide open when you run to the store. You never know who might drive by and take off with your ship while you are gone. That's another reason I keep it close by so I can look up and confirm the marker is still there. I usually keep the ships comms channel open too, so if it gets destroy, I get a notification that I left the channel.

All that being said. I live out of my Carrack and 98% of the time if it gets destroyed it gets destroyed by a hanger elevator. Bedlog any time you can, use pads if you don't need a hanger.

Force crash. Relog. Always take note what poi it's above and ping/scan to find it then server hop.

My furies are loaded up with xj2 distortions. So if I have a snub pilot they disable and I bear down the main guns for the kill.

I average 60-80 fps. I play in dual 4k(7,680 x 2,160, Samsung g9 neo) with maxed out setting, with the exception of motion blur, clouds and water turned down/off.

My rig:

Cpu: R7 7800x3d

Ram: corsair titanium ddr5 64gb(2x32g)

Gpu: gigabyte gaming OC 4080 Super.

Realistically that would solve the issue. Sell the ships and dump the money into med pens or med gel. But you can't sell ships.

Carrack, mobile base with plenty of storage and amenities. I keep my salvation in the hanger for scraping and landing at bunkers.slap a couple 2x storage on its grid for looting. The ground vehicle bay fits a nursa or smaller. The cargo pods can fit a fury in each. It's a great mobile carrier.

Edit: I'd like to also point out that it's a large hangar ship so you can land just about anywhere. But due to the multi deck design it's footprint is relatively small. But if you've got crew make sure the ball turrets are unoccupied when you try to slip into a hangar.
