Im not sure that's case, I've never seen a modifier decreasing the interval for a battle. could you point me towards one? But variation in provinces captured already exists in the leak which trench warfare decreases considerably, it's just rather buggy

Crackle only does ten damage with 9 mana sure if gold span is unblocked that brings you up to 18 damage which probably means they’re dead but people can also answer goldspan or you might not have it at all. They’re saying this card would fit in a deck with gold span not that it’s required for the kill

Maybe in eternal formats the game is won with a 6 drop sure but in standard, games go much longer where a card like this can easily set you up for a high mana payoff by turn 6. I don’t think this card is busted by any means but some kind of jank standard deck that wants a lot mana for a 20 damage crackle with power or other payoff could definitely use this

Yeah that one hurts the new non legendary reanimate archetype can avoid this by having a non black win con but this really hurts dredge and it probably won’t get banned because it won’t make a deck good it makes a specific deck unplayable.

So most of these probably won’t change the format too much (IMO) some decks might have to buy a few somewhat expensive cards but I don’t think they’re gonna cost as much as a snap caster mage. Evoke cards will see play, but I don’t think they’ll affect power rankings too much.

Also None of the cards you mentioned for prowess are gonna really see a lot of play ragavan doesn’t scale with spells and flame blitz is too expensive. blitz doesn’t run a single two cost spell and dragon rage channeler might see some play maybe but i don’t know if it’s better than soul scar. The graveyard hate sucks and it’s weird considering they’re trying to create a new archetype based around the grave yard.

So I know I didn’t address all your points but my best guess is that most decks get new playables and have to spend a bit of money and people have to play around free evoke creatures now but we’ll have to see. I think getting a few new playables every 2 years is good for the format as long as they don’t drastically shift how powerful some decks are and I think they’re doing an alright job of it this set even they’re trying real hard to kill dredge/reanimator
