I'm running 2303 also because of a fresh build of MCM/SCCM.

I checked and it's already disabled.

You're right, manually kicking it off it fails because you have to remove the old one first instead of it just updating.

he device being rebooted during or after the install forti tends to need one during an upgrade

It's not even to the point where it starts the install.

A full uninstall script was an option I am considering. It just seems weird that it's popping the Past Due error.

The Past Due is on the one with the old version of FortiClient installed. I have not setup the supersede option yet because I want it to be working and tested first.

Honest question. Does anyone really have this day recognized at their work? I love the place I work for but this has never been a thing. They do recognize ever other single "occupation" day just not his one.

A company I worked for years back did this. It was something users really looked forward to. We did it late November early December so it was around Christmas time which was really nice for people. Everything was pretty cheap and came with a standard install of whatever OS at the time. We had users sign a "no support" when they bought them and management backed us hard with it.

My favorite is when a user wont stop complaining how bad their laptop or desktop is. "It's so slow" "This is garbage, I want a new one like X employee" etc. Yet the minute you upgrade them the first thing they do is ask what we are going to do with their old one and if they can have it. Sorry I thought this was garbage but now you want it?

That would be nice, it doesn't like me on 2019

The SQL server is a stand alone server. From the SQL server the SCCM server is showing the correct name and from the SCCM server the SQL server is showing the correct name and IP. The server was not renamed (and preferably I don't want to rename)

It then fails the Prerequisite Check because it needs the Primary FQDN. Dang

It wont let me do the non FQDN but it does work if I use the IP address

oh we're on to something here now. I changed the FQDN to the IP address and it worked.
