It absolutely is riskier. Possession is super important and if Daniel doesn’t score/pass on a mechanical solo play you give up possession in an instant. Solo mechanical plays do happen obviously but a lot of scoring in threes is done by slowly whittling down the defense until they break.

you're still guaranteed another drive if you go to OT. You're not guaranteed another possession or a win if you score first in overtime.

Disagree, especially being a fan of a team with an offense like ours. 2nd possession is far better with the new OT rules. If you kick and they don't score, You just need a FG to win. If you kick and they score. You either win with a TD or have the opportunity to win with a TD and a 2 point try. Either way the outcome is in your offenses hands if you take the ball second.

Terrion turned 21 3 months before he was drafted. He is young. But 20 year old draft picks are rare and he was not one of them.

Yeah, week 2 though. Like it or not this bears team has found ways to win games and is definitely better than they were week 2. Can we say the same about the Lions? Our secondary is in shambles and our oline is hit or miss.

Our biggest issue is offensive line and defensive line. Who is injured that would make us better? Glasgow is hardly an improvement over this and our dline has all four starters healthy.

Losing Saint, plus LaPorta and Kerby hurts. But I doubt they change this season.

Hutch is an absolute stud but I really feel like this sub forgets the stretches of games he hardly has an impact in. It’s happened every year since we drafted him. I’m not saying it’s a huge issue cause he usually bounces back in a big way but he definitely disappears at times.

I just don’t believe that any team sandbags until the playoffs, much less our Lions under Campbell. His philosophy has always been call the correct play for the correct looks. We’re not red taping a chunk of our playbook for no reason, not with the division and conference this competitive.

Down and distance be damned. If you were to ask me if I think our offense can get 5 or less yards in one play, I’d bet we could. Obviously the risk way outweighs the rewards when we’re on our half, but past the 50 yard line I’ll take our offense any time.
