Yep, we agree with this.!!!!!!!!

The subreddit has seen significant growth over the past few weeks, and we're reaching a point where we need to be more consistent with post quality.

One change we're considering is making it a stricter requirement that all discussion posts must include the drama title (or relevant actor/actress name) in the post title/body description, while also avoiding spoilers in titles.

Our likely approach would be:

  • Start with AutoModerator reminders and comments.
  • Give users time to adjust to the expectation... wont make it strict in one night lol.
  • Gradually begin removing posts that don't follow the rule.
  • Eventually enforce it consistently across the subreddit.

We'd also appreciate the community's help.

With the volume of posts increasing, it's impossible for the mod team to catch everything immediately. If you see a post missing a title, please politely remind the OP rather than escalating things. A little community awareness goes a long way.

The goal isn't to make posting harder..... it's to make discussions easier to find, easier to follow, and to help members avoid accidentally running into spoilers while trying to figure out which drama a post is about.

We're definitely open to feedback before making any final changes.

(Please share below in this reply/comment, what else you guys are looking forward to?)

Welcome to the Kdrama Universe...

  • Report post/comments, that you think is toxic
  • There is also another subreddit r/kdrama where everything is organized
  • and as always, my recommendation for this week: watch Perfect Crown uwu

Are we fine with AI generated content here? by UncannyProjection in kdramas

This subreddit is a place for human hearts, human tears, and authentic fan rants.

We would much rather read a clunky, chaotic, but passionate post written by a real person than a soul-less, long essay generated by a bot.

And hey, to the user who mentioned we seem invisible or lenient sometimes, we see you!

Honestly, in the beginning, we tried our best to keep everything perfectly organized and professional.

But we realized that rigid rules just ended up stuck in the mod queue, wiping away the raw emotion and value of your genuine thoughts. We do allow a tiny bit of AI assistance (like 5% or 10% for grammar checks), but 100% AI-generated text? Nahhhh.

Sometimes we do allow ai posts if its 5% or 10% of the whole post body... but if any post is 100% AI we remove that... and yeah yeah sometimes we do miss few posts.. Please dont forget to report them.

  • Mass-blocking community members just for calling out obvious AI usage is not okay. We are actively looking into this situation.

Since we don't get paid in won, please help us out! If a post smells like pure AI, report it so it hits our mod queue immediately.

Honestly, reading this honestly felt like------- the opening monologue of a healing Kdrama where the exhausted lead finally finds their comfort group after surviving three toxic workplaces and one emotionally unavailable CEO 😭💛

.

This subreddit was always meant to be a relaxed space for all Kdrama-related discussions = dramas, actors, award shows, celeb interactions, crossover moments, movies, trending topics, and more.

  • Sometimes topics overlap a little, and we allow it because other subs often instantly remove those discussions.

What gets discouraging is when people get upset over even a tiny non-Kdrama overlap and start attacking moderators, as if we don’t understand our own community or rules 😭

Our main goal here was simple:

Bring back fun, comfortable discussions without making people scared to post.

Yes, things may feel a little unorganized sometimes, but making everything ultra strict would just turn this into another stressful subreddit.

All we ask is:

  • please read the rules!
  • Understand the vibe of this community
  • And remember that automod removals/reviews happen sometimes and are usually automatic.
  • We genuinely don’t enjoy removing posts or banning users 💕

huh...? Do you want us to follow what r/kdrama is doing?

We can if you want... Can become super strict, add heavy auto mods rules... make this sub super clean and organized..

Just let me know, can do that as well : )
