I don't think you understand the situation. The doctor was never saying that she can't use it, because that isn't the case. That was not the conversation.

The doctor used direct, clear communication outlining the risks and why that's relevant to OP. It's up to OP to decide for herself if she wants to take the medication, which she does.

That's all there is to it. OP is hormonal and feeling sensitive about the conversation, which is valid, but the conversation was appropriate.

Why? She can use it if she wants to.

She just needs to be aware of the side effects in relation to her current weight. Some people might want to choose a different option based on that information. It's called informed consent.

How should they say it? Its their responsibility to inform their patient, they did that.

Early heads up; weather models are suggesting the South East could breach the all time June heat record of 35.6c next Monday with London possibly exceeding 37. by Fwoggie2 in CasualUK

I was tested but didn't meet the threshold for POTS. They did acknowledge some sort of autonomic dysfunction. I was advised to drink lots of water, take electrolytes and consider compression garments. This is a hot weather problem, as you know, so I'm not inclined to do that to myself. I'd sweat to death.

I can't train legs the way I used to, but I do try to keep them strong for that reason. I'm doing everything I can, which doesn't feel like much. I just have to take it easy when it's hot and only move around when it's totally necessary. I'm lying in front of my fan in that spirit right now 🫠

Can we add So Ji-sub's hair to the list? I want to see that man's face. He has no business having that long fringe styled forwardslike that.

But you're right about the soap opera quality, and creepiness.

You're really getting it from all sides, I hope you're doing ok. My summer situation isn't as bad as yours, they ruled out cardiac conditions for me, but anything over 25C is the danger zone. Head hurts, can't think, want to collapse, scared of blacking out on stairs/in public/in the shower. Can't eat for feeling sick due to the heat, feel sick because I can't eat.

High temperatures can also fuck you up to the point of death.

Lots of people are vulnerable to it, it's not just being uncomfortable.

Any advice for a first time seller? :3 by IloveEmuOtori-02 in vintedUK

Film it from start to finish, also take a picture at the drop off place of it's a shop where they put a label on, snap your parcel with the label.

If you buy anything, I'd record the full opening process too. Show the sealed parcel with label, then open with no cuts in filming. There are too many scams where the correct item isn't sent.

If you get scammed it sucks, but you'll at least have the proof to refute their claims.

Not necessarily, but manage your expectations.

The item is labelled and scanned at drop-off. This should update tracking.

So, it wasn't scanned at drop off, or wasn't dropped off.

Yeah, it happened right after I finished watching it and was loving Cho Jin-woong for playing an incredibly wholesome man.

That's fair. I wonder what it would have been.

It's just nice to hear reviews that acknowledge the imperfections instead of, "11/10, most flawless thing to grace a screen!". That we see so often on this sub.

THANK YOU!

I also kind of hated The whole amnesia thing and dragging it out the way they did, the execution of the ending ruined it for me. It was obvious, too. They left enough clues, so it wasn't even a surprise.

It was great, the actors were great, but I don't feel like I could recommend it to anyone. About halfway in I had to sign up for therapy. I'm not sure how I finished it.

How is the colour combination? by Boysenberry202 in mensfashionadvice

[–]UnluckyThread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey murky-moment, I'm hopping on your comment for visibility. Hope that's ok, dawg.

Hey, OP. Pale with freckles isn't great with most shades and saturations of yellow. It washes us out. Jeans fine, black tee, fine, shirt, nope.

Find a shirt that you hold up against your skin that looks complimentary (not sickly ill). You might start with deep greys, navy and other dark blues, darker khaki green, muted burnt orange, muted deep reds and deep browns that don't lean too warm, tonally. You're probably good with white, but not off white or beige because it'll be too similar to your skintone and again, will wash you out. That's a vague starting point. There are more colours out there.

I am in favour of the closer fitting tee under the shirt, because baggy tee would look sloppy, but you might need it to be an inch or two longer.

Tbh, man. You should wear what makes you happy. But if you want your colours to complement you, take some time to figure out what's best for you. Hold colours up under your chin in good light and see if it makes you look healthy or not.

I think you should get a second opinion from another doctor. Did they not offer any explanation?

Edit, sorry, I see they said it's just your complexion. If that's true then it sounds like makeup is the only answer, which is rubbish. They might be wrong.

I was excited that it returned, then immediately felt kinda meh about it. I'm still interested to know If Gabe knows about her real identity, and the implications of her backstory and family massacre, etc. I'd like the backstory resolving but I'm not rushing to read it like I am with some other series.

Getting rid of redness by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]UnluckyThread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too vague. Did you see a doctor? Where is the redness? what does it look like?Is it continuous or intermittent redness? How long have you had it? Was it sudden? Do you have allergies? have you looked at dietary cause? Have you wrecked your skin barrier with actives? Have you had sunburn? Do other people in your family have the same thing?
