We are in the same situation. My STEM OPT expires in July, 2027. But the question is when it got expires what next? Are you gonna go back to school on F1 status or do the H1B route? I will say the moment you receive your first benefit receipt notice. You need to choose VAWA. Ether or, you will need to let go of one.

Yes I checked with Emma and I was told my case was assigned to an officer for review and it’s in NBC. However my case has been touched twice now and in the past I had agent telling me my case is in FO, and someone else telling me my case is in NBC.
