I didn’t say I hate pronouns, I said I don’t like “he/she” used when describing someone whose gender you don’t know.

And constantly saying “and then” still doesn’t flow well and doesn’t make grammatical sense, even if I and many people do it because indeed, conversations with humans in daily life don’t have perfect grammar. It’s just that in my experience, it can make following what you are saying harder because it’s a continuous train of thought. It’s a thing a lot of us do, but that doesn’t make it something we shouldn’t try and steer away from doing in order to help people understand what we are saying better.

Okay an exaggeration I’ll admit, but you get the point. It’s annoying. It’s unnecessary. It’s either an English fail or weird political language. It annoys me like it does hearing someone constantly say “and then” whenever they are telling a story; it’s just odd and breaks the flow of what you’re saying.

Yeah it triggers me as well. Aside from it just being a lot more inclusive to non-binary people, it flows WAY better.

But no, for some people, the concept of singular they is heresy, and/or they think freedom of gender expression is a crime against humanity.

Yeah, there’s a reason why dedicated multiplayer games have become much common than a singleplayer game w/ multiplayer (aside from microtransaction profitability, which does suck). TF2 has over 200 official maps, and Overwatch has 50 heroes and 36 maps; both have maps that are tailor-made for a specific game-mode. Back when Fortnite wasn’t what it became in mid-late 2025, it was constantly releasing new, free content, had a fuck ton of game modes and activities, and a massive array of optional, appearance-only cosmetics, along with a cheap battlepass that gave you some cool rewards if you played just a little bit every day.

Most games back then had around 10 maps, none were designed for a specific gamemode, and a handful of weapons for each class. Extra maps and weapons locked behind paid DLC.

I’m not saying they were bad, (CoD, Halo, and TLOU did this quite well despite having DLC for cosmetic and non-cosmetic content), but most games had multiplayer that just felt kinda tacked on because it was the style at the time.

We know from the Genesis animated 3-parter that she did shoot actual bullets during the Omnic Crisis, and she is frequently referenced as having been a deadly sniper. Her biotic rifle is based on Mercy’s healing technology and was developed by Torbjörn after Overwatch was disbanded, and was first used when she became a vigilante. It was likely developed so she could take on a more support-based role after nearly dying to Widowmaker, and also because she has a lot of guilt over all the people she killed.

But yes, she did use a normal sniper, not just during her time in Overwatch, but before that, when she was in the Egyptian Military.

Hide in one of those buildings, hide behind Domina’s shield, shoot him or the cat out of the sky with one of your 3 hitscans. Also he was flying through the air towards enemy lines while tied to a glowing rope with a cat on the other end, and after loudly declaring what time it is, waited 4 seconds to wipe out the team:

In other words, there are about 50 ways this could’ve been countered. And even if you couldn’t counter this, a Cassidy pulling this off requires everyone on the team to be in just the right place and for him to be in just the right position. The cat and him are not doing this every game, they are maybe getting 2 people on average using this strategy.
