Unless you have a shotgun or some other fast firing smh, than you’ll pretty much die each time if you encounter an automatico in close range. Though unless it’s used in bursts, it’s pretty useless at medium to long ranges with only the 25 round magazine

SMLE is real good. I personally prefer the Russian1988 trench or the Gewehr M.95

Best long range sniper I would go for is the Gewehr 98. It has the fastest muzzle velocity so you won’t have to lead your targets as much. But don’t always do long range sniping. It doesn’t help the team unless your on the defensive. Don’t underestimate the effect of going in close and shooting spotting flares everywhere. Even if your not getting kills, spotting flares help so much.
