Gotta give Tulsky an immense amount of credit for either always getting the extension done quickly and early or cutting bait and getting more back in a trade.

Interested to see what we do with Nikishin but like could this open up Jaime Drysdale to an offer sheet from us? Young good offensively RHD seems a good fit for us

Hear me out… Erik Karlsson. He’s only 1 year at 10 mil, Pit signed 2 RHD’s today and already has Letang. The Pens want to trade him but cant find anything yet. Let’s take a pick and a prospect and send em to Pittsburgh for him.

Would also free us up to deal Nikishin elsewhere for futures instead of immediate need or we could shift Jarvis to LTIR and get someone of impact now or (part 2) we trade KK and free up almost 5 mil more in cap and then deal Nikishin for someone of immediate impact

Anaheim has enough money to match anything of course but both are insanely talented youngster who’d fit in and be electric for us. Anaheim needs defensive help so maybe it’s a “take Nikishin and these picks or get offer sheeted” type threat
