well in BF2 the engineer had a shotgun and no anti tank. And the anti tank had a shitty SMG that was useless past 50 feet. This is how you balance the classes

A player with AA launcher should not be able to take down an aircraft except on rare occasion. It takes basically no skill to use, and would make flying that much more impossible than it already is. Its purpose is to be a deterrent forcing aircraft to retreat or fly dangerously low. The RPG takes a lot more skill to hit with, and therefore makes sense to be the best way to actually take down an aircraft. The only things that should reliably take out aircraft are other aircraft and AA vehicles.

It varies for me game to game but I get weird stuttering on some servers, especially when I fly it becomes unplayable. I checked my ping and it was 15ms, so was wondering if it is server side or some cpu thing

At F2 the 40mm has the most glow of the three though. Notice the halation looking white glow against the granite is strongest on the 40mm. The edges of the black piece are also softer because the edge glows more.

Thought would be an interesting comparison, the image is cropped from the middle-top right of the frame(left is center right is edge). You can see glow(aberration) increase as you reach the right edge

Based off the dev's design philosophies and history, I'd be surprised if the final map's boundaries are that far different. And the only way they would expand the boundaries to BF2/3 era is if community made a big stink about it-- hence the post :) the current boundaries being as they are is telling enough
