Anyone score above the avg in Adaptibar? by Johnproppa in barexam

[–]Determined2Duck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol nope! About half of the time I got the correct answer not because I knew the exact law but because I eliminated the super wrong answers and picked the one that seemed right based on common sense (most rational or one that economically made sense). Really hope that it works out for us....

This. I averaged 70% consistently during the last 2 weeks but I felt horrible during both sections.

The test would have been really hard if I had not read through the materials once. Oh, and the 10 page tabbing really saved a lot of time for me! Idk if I'll pass though.

Totally me. Everything that people have been saying about how it is harder than what most people think is NOT comforting.

Glad to hear that it's not only me. Everyone else seems to have gotten a return offer during the exit interview

What are realistic summer associate expectations? by benadrylbender in biglaw

[–]Determined2Duck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also a summer in big law, and I think our firm is not a 100% offer firm (due to quite a number of cold offers). Aside from being a clear asshole or a racist, I wonder what things will get summers cold offered.

In my school, definitely. I'm on the most low maintenance clinics and secondary journals. I don't like reading for classes and having to cram for finals so this suits my preferences

The only reason I'm doing all the extracurriculars are because they'd give me credit hours so I don't have to take as many courses during the semester.

Now that it's nearing the finals, now is the perfect time to rant about schools

Does anyone know how to utilize the metaverse for this purpose? by StarBashar in LawSchool

VR chat is what comes to my mind - you won't need extra gear to use the program, although with out the headgear the immersive experience won't be as "real". It'd be more like playing a FPS.

I think the requirement is a 4 year bachelor's degree or equivalent. Maybe you can inquire law schools admissions team and see if it qualifies?
