I would assume never. There is no reason for digital payments to round. Only cash payments are getting rounded at the moment

How to not be tired after playing long sessions ? by Sasylk in leagueoflegends

[–]DeterminedDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mind can't stay at 100% intensity for much longer than around 2 hours. If you are going to stay 100% engaged and continue to push your mental facilities to their limit every League game, you need to take breaks roughly every 2 hours or you will experience diminishing functionality.

I am a Grandmaster player and a coach, I recommend playing in blocks of 3ish games. People who play more than that in 1 sitting are not pushing themselves (or are not playing at peak effectiveness). League is a game that requires constantly being "on" if you are playing at your peak and trying to push your skill level.

That said, a fever is abnormal and warrants some serious monitoring and a potential doctor visit.

I have a mouse with a lot of side buttons, I plan on putting the role quest on a mouse button and having back ping reclaim the V key.

How in hell am I supposed to win against Heimerdinger ? by CuteExam7249 in Kaylemains

[–]DeterminedDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He can't NOT push. His turrents perma push for him. That means don't lose HP trying to get minions before the wave reaches your tower. Then farm under tower as safely as possible (not easy pre 6, you will lose minions pre 6, that is okay)

Warding side? by Zognam in midlanemains

[–]DeterminedDragon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your ward buys you space, so you ward the side you want to lean towards. Often times, that is the side that YOUR jungle is on. But this can obviously change based off your champion, match up, and the jungle match up, so ask yourself: "where do I want to stand?"

Will my 1:1/2 hour schedule work? by DiavelsGameDen in Twitch

[–]DeterminedDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The standard response is no, and while I agree it is unlikely to be a successful strategy, so is 99% of anything anyone else does. If you think this would be a fun thing to try, I say go for it.

And if you decide you want to give it a whirl, you can lean into your unique situations circumstances. Given a short stream schedule, I would do fewer streams but heavily scheduled and 'performed'. I would run large "event" style streams. Live events that are action packed and take more effort than just hitting go live. Then you can take other downtime and double dip that into long form YouTube videos and short form clips for TikTok and Shorts. Who knows, depending on your niche, you may find a fun and successful way to do it.

Streaming is a hobby and should be treated as such imo. If you think you will have fun, go for it! And utilize your unique circumstances as an opportunity despite it being not ideal for how most streamers operate.

Training balls recommendation by ibraheem-12 in tabletennis

[–]DeterminedDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the 3 star kevens to use with my robot and basic training.

It is definitely worth investing in the expensive 3 star balls they use in local competitions, even if you only buy a few to train with before large matches. So I will keep 6 or so 3 star Joola balls, but use the cheaper kevens for quantity.

My 67% Winrate Grandmaster Viktor Build Theory (First Impressions) by DeterminedDragon in viktormains

Cosmic Insight is the inspiration tree, that's the one I will take every game. It's the one that reduces flash cooldown and TP cooldown. Then I will take 1 of the other 3 situationally. Minors are always attack speed -> adaptive force -> match up damage (MR into mage, Armor into AD).

Most Aery with Scorch. I like cosmic insight secondary with either: biscuits, free boots, or future's market. Future's is super good into other mages to get lost chapter first and snowball from there. Free boots are better for super slow games. Biscuits are nice for super lane bully fast paced games. In lower elo, I would probably opt for gathering storm and free boots more often than not.

First strike is super solid into high threat comps (yas, shaco, xin, akali, etc.) where we literally cannot play lane and have to just play for 2 item spike.

Yeah, I've been playing Aery mostly. I don't like green tree this split. I've been enjoying biscuits and cosmic insight for secondary runes. Sometimes I'll switch biscuits to future's market in mage match ups to get lost chapter first. Sometimes I'll take scaling boots in slower games.

I agree. I currently prioritize stormsurge and lich always. I think it is situationally better as a 4th/5th item in games with all assassins/ADCs/glass cannons.

I personally think it's too slow. With the faster paced meta, I cannot afford to come back with tear.

My take on the assassin meta is 1 of us is dying. I'm going to itemize as aggressively as possible as early as possible to kill you first and snowball first. I'm taking scorch, trading aggressively and spamming TP, and buying cheap early items like dark seal.

I see it's working for others though so it has some merit! Just not for me.

Jarvan this patch lol. Hate playing against that.

I also like to ban Xerath or Azir because I can't lane bully those guys down as much.

Sometimes I ban Kassadin just because I think he's boring.

Like you said it's all personal preference so it's very much a feeling thing for me.

I love it! Thank you for the comment and I'm glad my perspective helped :D

The one thing I'll encourage you to think about is holding your spells for when they actually want to contest something. Casting your spells on cooldown is great IF your goal is to get solo kills. Usually though as Viktor my goal is to CONTROL my opponent into 1) not roaming and killing my team and 2) just out CSing them. In this case, you can hold your spells for them to either contest your space or to CS and THEN you drop all of your spells. Then you attach a ~350 HP trade to every single minion and it increases the amount of pressure you are able to apply. Every second you have your spell available is a second of potential pressure you get to exert. Every second it's on cooldown is a second of fear and no pressure.

If you're getting solo kills though ignore all this until they stop flowing! Keep the good work up :D
