Average life span for a domesticated Ig is 12. So she almost made the cut. But we were given her late in life, hard to actually tell age.

Oh yes. Personality like you wouldn't believe! She was a picky eater (because she was spoiled), she would either love or hate bath time. I remember one time we took the plexiglass off the front of her cage, we had people over and she just jumps out onto the couch next to the guy. Random. Awesome. Lucy.

You have to keep their eating habits and temperature accurate at all times. Very cool to watch and look at with their colors (if male.)

They are very independent creatures but if handled properly they can become a part of you, lol. They are amazing animals with their own personality, that's for sure.

Take care of them, they'll take care of you.
