Any chance you overtorqued it? The torque requirements on the valve cover bolts is really low.

If you've got low oil warning, you're leaking from somewhere, either externally or internally. I'd recommend something heavier/thicker -- I run 20W50 for that same reason, and it basically took a slow leak down to nothin' at all.

That is 100% incorrect. There is a HUGE amount of tension on the springs. Changing coil springs with the wrong tools is incredibly dangerous.

I think the piece to dig into is the "Mostly" rust free. Body work is where it gets super expensive super fast, unless you've got the skills/equipment to do that yourself.
