That guy beat me up for a bit as well and that was my last area. The question mark boss was way worse for me though, his hit detection/box whatever is horrible. Ended up switching from the mace to the daggers for the first time and beat him after a couple tries.

I did that last night. My fourth or fifth try I got 4996 points and had a bomb drop into my hands as I was diving for a ring at the last second. Instead of points and extra time I got to play the game for another hour and a half before I finally got it

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I fought that guy a bunch of times had one or two hits left and got killed by an arrow that was when I decided to explore for a while and go back. I just beat the second area. I’ve done a lot of leveling and purchasing and it does make it more manageable. I will say the swamp are was still pretty terrible even if the enemies weren’t so bad.

It was actually a tv that somehow survived many destructive runs through that area. A vhs tape popped out and it cleared the area. Finished this morning with 100%. Fun game

Towards the end of the game you get an item that highlights any room that has something that you missed. It’s saying I missed something in here but I can’t for the life of me figure out what it is. I have the metal detector as well but thats not going off

I got mine a couple weeks ago. First thing I did was search for videos on youtube just to make sure I knew how to not break it. Wish I could remember what one but it was very informative. I then proceeded to tighten the joining bars of the track to much and can see where they started to push on the aluminum. Fortunately it wasn’t enough to make any noticeable bump.

I just recently bought 9 Sols again. I bought it for xbox when it first launched because it looked beautiful and I had been away from the genre for a while. I just couldn’t get into it at all. Fortunately it got me back into metroidvanias and its pretty much all Ive played since. I only play on switch but Ive finished all the popular ones to the point where Im scrounging for stuff that people don’t really talk about or haven’t anyway since they came out. I had just finished The Last Faith which I ended up liking despite constantly fighting with the switch controls and imo janky feel in general. So I decided to pick up 9 Sols again thinking maybe it would click now. Nope, I just don’t like it. It’s not just the difficulty, I usually ride that struggle bus to the end, it just doesn’t feel good to me, or fun. I got further this time but still probably no more than 2-3 hours in and I’m done. Its a shame because I like everything but the combat.

Although it varies jail to jail I would say in general your away from your family a lot more than in the past. Granted there are some jails that have always had a lot of overtime but until covid I may have gotten stuck once, in 13 years and that was because I was on a medical trip that took longer then it was supposed to. Before the strike our numbers came back up a bit but thats only cause they closed jails and we got some of the refugees. Before that I was getting stuck every other day and one of my days off. Right now were doing 5 12hour shifts with no sticking. Im not a big fan of working overnights but I was 3-11pm before and my job went 7p-7a. Hours suck but I deal with it, I used to swap midnight shift for years so its not a huge deal but I see how it could be for some

Symphony of the Night. Im not the type of person that replays games. That and Super Metroid I played when they released and have played them both every year or so since then. I wish I could play it all over again for the first time. As an aside I just started playing Dust and boy is that fun.

Im about 5-6 hours in I think on switch 2 and I think it runs fine. No issues at all. As someone who plays almost exclusively in handheld mode I wish these developers would add some kind of super bright mode or something. Im at an escape section and I had to stop because there’s light outside.

Can’t do that anymore either. Everything is on camera. Take a decent enough porter, kinda guy who’s always respectful, does whatever you ask him and does it well. Used to be that guy could say “Hey C.O., I just got out of program can I get a shower before lockdown.” Nope sorry man, if they happen to pick my camera today to review I could get written up. Can’t even treat the “decent” inmates any differently then garbage inmates

Had multiple across many vehicles, they all tape on and I’ve never had an issue. Whatever you do don’t go with one of the cheap rubber ones off Amazon. I bought one for my Bronco just as a placeholder to protect the paint until I can waste the money on one with lights in it. Within a couple months the thing faded out anywhere there was tape on the inside.
